The convertible was the best looking Lincoln. This is the model I think of when I think of Lincoln. Love the suicide doors. That is one beautiful Lincoln even though it would be more valuable with the original rims. I wouldn't give them that level of money unless it had the original rims and caps.

I'd settle for period correct wheels. As is, it's just someone else's dream. Why didn't they just keep it already?

@@vanessadillon2101 It's set up the way it is as it has custom suspension and will ride 10 times better. It will be like driving your sofa down the road. There is no comparison in the ride and drive quality as it also has custom steering. The bigger money always goes to customs. Try finding someone to repair the workings of a stock convertible top. There are only a few guys that specialize on those in the US. Anyone else are posers. People would rather have a car they don't have to worry about and drives like a new car than something with 60 yr old parts and drives like it. I used to always lean towards stock until I drive some customs.

The car has a 1964 grill. This gorgeous Lincoln would be best served by leaving it in stock condition.

If I was the winning bidder, the first thing I’d do is replace the rims and the caps. The car speaks understated elegance, not pimp mobile.

Right, it looks stupid. Hey, forget the car, look at my wheels, I'm a douchebag. I wouldn't be caught dead driving it as is.

As is, it's just someone else's dream. Lose the wheels, they detract from the original styling and make the vehicle ride shitty.

Usually the trunk is a vulnerable area. Pin holes develop from bracing area under trunk lid.

STUNNING classic masterpiece. However I can't help but be reminded of how Lincoln DOESN'T MAKE CARS ANYMORE and hasn't since 2020. That is FREAKING PATHETIC and personally makes me resent Ford BIG TIME.

The acutioneer is difficult to understand. Does he pronounce bids for more than $70'000.00 Dollars? Now at 7:51 I see the price of $84,000 for which this 59 year old car was really sold? Anyhow: beauty is flesh or metal is always priceless.

The 63 was the most beautiful of all the slab Lincoln. I will watch, but almost too paInful. Almost like it is mirage. The price of that car has only one direction to go? UP! The car is amazing, but the rims scream ghetto.

They would say those 20s are to small. I've seen 20s on another Lincoln with different (larger)tires and it looks better. I think 18s would be best. Look at Daniel Wu's 61 Lincoln Continental he has 20s
