Mrs. Jasvinder Kaur (61) is from Chandigarh.
She got her left eye's cataract surgery done at a hospital in Chandigarh back in 2018. A multifocal lens was implanted during her cataract surgery.
About Multifocal Lenses:
Multifocal lenses provide a sharp vision for near, intermediate, and distance vision. They can provide total freedom from glasses and contact lenses after cataract surgery. However, many patients experience some loss of contrast and halo around bright lights at night time.
Due to the multifocal lens, her left eye became very sensitive to light. She was extremely uncomfortable because of the halos and glares. The only solution to her problem was to 'exchange the multi-focal lens placed in her left eye with a mono-focal lens".
Now once cataract surgery is done, it is extremely difficult and unlikely to be recommended to exchange the artificial lens.
Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary, one of the most experienced and finest cataract surgeons in the country, decided to exchange her lens. The surgery was performed in Sep-2022 and was a huge success. It completely changed the patient's life. She finally got rid of all her vision-related problems.

Cataract surgery generally takes 3 days (visits).

◽ Biometry- perfect IOL power calculation
◽ Blood Pressure (BP), Blood Sugar test and E.C.G.

Eye 7.... Hospital mujha aana hain aur Mai kabhi delhi nahi aaya hu soo kuch parresani horraha hain sooo ki hum kaha rahenge hotel mujha nahi pata room milega bhi ya nahi help.

Sir mera 2013 me catract ki surgery ho gayi hai magar mujhe cylindrical -1.25 , sph 1.00 and reading 2.75 number abhibhi hai isme lens replace kar sakte hai

Usually, Cataract lens removal recommended nahi hai. Lekin kuch rare cases me doctor suggest karte hain IOL exchange surgery. Aapke liye suitable hai ya nahi ya aur agar nahi hai toh kaunsa treatment suitable rahega yeh doctor complete check up ke baad hi suggest karenge. Assalamu Alaikum Dr. Raheel I need your opinion regarding after cataract and MIVS surgery. First my cataract surgery was done on 8 December 2022. And MIV Surgery was done in 28 January 2023. But still i m in problem, my vision is cloudy, i can not see clearly to anyone. Although i am taking all medication as described by Doctor. I need your opinion regarding this issue.
