Extremely Rare Animals Caught on Camera
These incredibly rare animals were caught on camera. In 2017, for the first time ever sand cat kittens living in the wild were captured on video. In 2022, the city of Amarillo, Texas, needed help trying to figure out what a strange creature was caught on tape. In 2017, a giant otter packed his bags and moved all the way from France to England to save his species. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

My initial thought was a flying squirrel, but I think you might be correct.

We got a few snowy owls that come and go in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

I was in southwest Ohio a number of years ago and heard there was a snowy owl in the area. I drove an hour to get to the reported location out in farm land and was fortunate enough to see it. The thinking is that the lemming population in Canada crashes cyclically sending these owls south to hunt during those times. Getting to see the snowy owl was pretty special and I was all grins marking the sighting on my Peterson's field guide. :)

We had a Ivoirien neighbor whom had sand cats. He was jailed due to illegal breeding.

We need to stop these poachers from destroying these magnificent animals or we won't have any future.... I was at my uncle's house 🏘️ one time and he didn't have any outside lights and we were leaving he turned it on the house and we found a bat 🦇 on the ground..we surmised that he hit the wall and it was knocked out so he got rid of it
