Also, using low Kv brushless outrunners will likely contribute to longevity and reduce decibels. And… and (with low friction seals adapted), then a very light-viscosity [non-reactive] oil, would also assist in 1. Lubrication, 2. Longevity, 3. Decibel reduction, 4. Reduced friction-heat reduction).

higher kv is more efficient in power, it just needs a gearbox to slow it down

Cool project! I can't help but wonder if the 4 motors are actually engaged with the gearbox at the same time. Though I haven't tried this setup for myself so it might be unwarranted

I would assume once pressure is added to the geared motor leading the pack it would use the force from more than one of the geared motors if they are not all perfectly lined up. It wouldn't be a big notice though as speed doesn't change and once you are asking it to use torque it uses all of the torque it can.

@@TJPlaysNow Good point, if it is under load the plastic gear propably warps enough to engage the other ones. It's propably not very energy efficient but it works ^^

What brand of PLA are you using? PolyMaker has that new Polylite Pro which they claim is both stiffer as well as more durable than regular PLA or PLA+. I've been wondering how good this material would be for gears (maybe PolyMaker will send you a spool if you ask nicely, they are usually pretty cool with the community and content creators)

I am goi g to be honest. Usually when I come across a KZreadr with an accent I struggle with I just skip. I find it frustrating trying to work out what people are saying. You are one of the KZreadrs I have trouble with (I'm British). However the quality of your videos and the effort you put in is so incredible, your passion and perseverance far exceed anything I've seen elsewhere. Not only am I now making an exception for you, but you've convinced me to give other creators a little more time than previously. I know there will be people that jump on me for making this comment accusing me of being racist etc. I'm not racist, I just have trouble with accents. But it's important to me that you know the effect your videos have goes beyond what you might have expected and is helping other creators too. Keep up the amazing work!
