I know that this video is two years old and you have undoubtedly have heard this all before.... I am old and will retire soon, I have (almost always) wanted to work with wood and Leather. See I love doing the woodwork . I don't have your talent for visualization. This has to be the most overwhelming video I have seen to date of all the flips I have see, I have seen a lot!! Amazing, stunning, awesome, or unbelievable just don't cut it. It was fascinating to see your use of the stencil. Thank you so much, Katie Anderson

Awe thank you so much 💜 Just want you to know it’s never too late start.
I usually dont like when people paint over waterfall dressers, but this one is great and a really clever idea! I'm sure there is a market of people who would really want a drawer like this
Just imagine if the companie "Louis Vuitton" would buy this piece and displayed it in their shop in the Champs Elysées in Paris, would it be grand?

IKR. She needs a check from their company just for HER inspirations to give a plug & shot out to their brand. I am sure that in such economic times as this that even luxury brands are having a harder time getting sales. Good observation.
You really had a grand vision for this old, tired dresser and brought it to life as a piece of art. It's stunning!

Okay, I'm impressed. Not only did you go the extra mile to prep (soda blaster) but you took the time to create the detailing that epitomizes this brand. I was impressed with your leather work as well. My father taught me, even if you only use a tool once, it has paid for itself.

there are no words for the commitment to details you have shown. Outstanding creation.
I’ve done so much old home renovation over the years and have stripped acres of paint and varnish off of grooved surfaces. I have a collection of wire brushes and dental tools for same but…how in the world did I not know about a soda blaster???? That thing is magic!!! Just found your channel and subscribed…love your work…so creative

I know! My husband and I are too restoring a house. We tried a soda blaster last year on our cast iron heating registers and fell in love. 140 years of paint on those babies. After stripping one of them with paint stripper I said to my husband....we have got to find a better way! I have never thought about using it on wood however. I just found this channel yesterday and this lady is amazing, she should be really proud of this idea. Her attention to detail was spot on. What a blessing to watch this artist do her thing

I love soda blasting! Need to explain to hubby why I must have one.😁 Pro tip from Melanie Mel; if you have finished a base coat or stain, seal it! So much time saved if you have a boo boo. I too use those wedge make up sponges, brushes are too intimidating. Really useful if you are doing multiple colours. I’ve been wanting to do a Gucci inspired piece but it felt like a lot of work. Now I know it is.😁 You have such a wonderfully creative mind! Thx for the leather handle tips. I think the tool is called just a leather edge tool. 👏👏💕 Nailed it!

Absolutely MAD skills and incredible imagination! Congratulations for one of the Best makeovers ever! 🌟🙌🏼💥👏🏼🌟
You did a something right here.🤗🤗🤗 I have never seen a drastic transformation like this….eveeeeeeeeeeeer👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Looking at the finished product it would have to be said ……No Way did it used to look like the before pic! The presentation of your tutorial gave all the necessary steps to create this beautiful piece of furniture. Painting then stenciling the unseen areas…….love it…..it showcases the usually ignored areas of the furniture perfectly! Now I want to create my own piece using my logo…….so I have some research to do for my supplies. I do have a three questions: 1. when creating your custom colours…….how did you know how much to mix up so as to have enough for your entire project? 2. what did your friend use to create the stencil. 3. what was the diy wax you used. 🥰

thank you 😊 The Wax brand is Debi’s Design diary DIY wax 💯 all natural. For the paint t’s just trial and error blending up small batches and then over estimating how much you’ll need just to be safe. As for the stencil my friend made it on a some kind of large machine she owns. She only made me the stencil because this dresser was a gift for her daughter. Hope that helps good luck 👍
All I can say is WOW! Amazing job!
This is probably the BEST I ever seen.

Wowzer! Incredible job!! So I’m clueless on color and always astounded by you and other furniture painting artists, “so to keep it from being a gray color, I added yellow.” Uhhh??? What? Your color was exceptional. But how do you get to the place where you KNOW yellow was the correct addition? I think I get why it was needed (there was enough white in the milk chocolate to cause the caviar color to go grey. And I understand that there’s yellow in brown. But, why didn’t you add blue or red? - I’m asking an ignorant question, I realize. But I hope you can understand my lack of knowledge and answer me.
