"Stop The World" song N. 10 of the beautiful album "III Side to Every Story" (1992) Extreme. Personally I think this album is a masterpiece, A timing long, 76 min abundant, for a concept album that attempts to show the three sides to every story, an attempt to emphasize that there are differences in the way of seeing things in each us. The disc is divided into three definite parts: Yours, which tells the story as seen from "your" point of view, then who does not live the reality of the facts in person but sees them outside or if they feel telling; Mine, the "My vision of things, that those who live in first person and suffers from all points of view, and The Truth, highly provocative section of the work & the one that makes most think. "Truth" shows the difference between the first two versions, reaching a clear verdict: neither of the two previous sections corresponds to the real truth, stressing that the distortion of the minds of people & mute the course of events, providing or abstruse meanings of pure comfortable. Or clearly erroneous. "Stop the World" has always been and always will be for me one of the most beautiful songs & complete the Extreme, as it is impossible not to appreciate its variations & chords that give a constant sense of "renewal" and "freshness" throughout the song as if it were not always the same song but a new one every time. The 'Tuning 1/2 tone down the instruments (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb), the heartfelt voice of Gary Cherone, Nuno Bettencourt guitar solo sometimes sweet & nostalgic, sometimes aggressive & expressive as the original bass solo Pat Badger, make "Stop the World" not only a beautiful song but a true masterpiece Rock to listen and listen again.

"Stop The World" song n. 10 del bellissimo Album "III Side to every story" (1992) degli Extreme. Personalmente ritengo che questo album sia un piccolo capolavoro, Un timing lunghissimo, 76 min. abbondanti, per un concept album che tenta di mostrare i 3 lati di ogni storia, un tentativo di sottolineare le diversità che ci sono nel modo di vedere le cose in ognuno di noi. Il disco è diviso in tre parti nette: Yours, che racconta la storia vista dal "tuo" punto di vista, quindi la realtà di chi non vive in prima persona i fatti ma che li vede esternamente o se li sente raccontare; Mine, la "mia" visione delle cose, cioè chi le vive in prima persona e ne risente sotto tutti i punti di vista, e The Truth, sezione altamente provocatoria del lavoro ed anche quella che fa più riflettere. "La verità" mostra la differenza tra le prime due versioni, arrivando ad un verdetto chiaro: nessuna delle due sezioni precedenti corrisponde alla reale verità, sottolineando come la distorsione delle menti e delle persone muti lo svolgimento dei fatti, fornendo significati astrusi o di puro comodo. Oppure chiaramente fallaci. "Stop the World" è sempre stata e sarà sempre per me una delle canzoni più belle e complete degli Extreme, in quanto è impossibile non apprezzare le sue variazioni di accordi e di motivo che danno un continuo senso di "rinnovo" e "freschezza" su tutta la canzone, come se non fosse sempre lo stesso brano ma uno nuovo ogni volta. L' Accordatura di 1/2 tono giù degli strumenti (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb), come se non fosse sempre lo stesso brano ma uno nuovo ogni volta. La voce accorata di Gary Cherone, la chitarra solista di Nuno Bettencourt a volte dolce e nostalgica e a volte aggressiva e l'originale quanto espressivo assolo di basso di Pat Badger, fanno sì che "Stop the World" non sia solo una bellissima canzone ma un vero e proprio capolavoro Rock da ascoltare e riascoltare più volte. Avendo notato che su youtube mancava una versione completa di questa song, ho pensato che era invece un dovere condividerla non solo chi ama gli Extreme ma anche la Buona musica.
