Over course of winter we can get maybe a month of truly bad weather. From March till end of November I have no issue with!

God willing I'll be living in my fathers hometown Clear Water in the next 5 years. Saw an amazing 2 bedroom 2 full baths, pool condo for 47 thousand. My 4 bedroom bungalow in Scarborough cost eight hundred grant. I could buy a couple decent homes in Florida for what I spend on my home LOL. I played outside hockey and love to ski so I'll really miss it down here🍁

I'm in Newfoundland and can tell you it was intense, we received over 90 cm here in Bonavista, while St. John's received over 75cm! Oh, and the winds, ya they were clocked at 160km/h!! I lived in Toronto for 30 years and remember when they got clobbered and called in the army too and this 2020 storm made that storm look simple, lol.
@lvfreeAdventures

@@lvfreeAdventures It would be pandemonium if Toronto ever received a storm of this magnitude! I was living in Toronto when the Army was called in for the BIG storm a few years back, co-workers here were always making fun of it...Then this Storm happened LOL. I will say though, the addition of the winds here in Newfoundland, and the houses in St John's being jammed together on very narrow streets with some of the steepest inclines in the world, makes traversing them a task in itself without any snow lol. The plow operators are earning their pay this storm. One big difference between Toronto & St. John's, is St. John's was never designed for vehicles, ever period lol, so plow operators already have a challenge removing snow from a "regular" snow fall, lol.

@Lourdes A.J. Ramos...NOT "brutal" at all (usually) in southern Canada where the vast majority of Canadians live...Buffalo New York for example gets tons more snow than downtown Toronto because of "lake effect" snow whch sweeps in across Lake Erie from the west and dumps on Buffalo. Downtown Toronto (as opposed to north and west of Toronto) seems to be moderated somewhat by being on the north shore of Lake Ontario and the normal wind directions.

Beautiful and scenic...
Quite normal, we keep warm while staying indoors, or inside the car, just make sure that we have snow tires x 4, and dress warm, air quality is excellent here! All you need is patient.

If you are from Sri Lanka then the nearest snow fall place is your neighbour India.I don't think there will be any obstruction to visit India.Indians are nice people unlike our Northwestern neighbour.You can come to Dalhousie or Patni Top where you can enjoy Snow storm especially in January.Although round the season you will see snow fall but if you go to Patni Top you will enjoy snow storm.You have another place i.e ; Dayan Kund.Here you will see X-mas trees,Pine & Oak trees also Cedar in low land.
that's winter seasons it's most beautiful although have many hardness life for your economies, moods, and anythings.
