Now you need a front locker and locking hubs. That would make easy work of that trail! Alternatively welding the spider gears in the front diff will work well with locking hubs.

Not gona argue that .. but you are going to spend alot of money for such a brife trip .. If you wana go as far as you like on that mountain with 0 modfcations & 0 benjamins spending rate on enhancement gear on your truck .. try what i would have done if i were the driver & happened to be on the same situation.. 1)i Reduce tyer pressure to ((depending on the unite you prefer to use)) (1.0) bar / (15) P.s.i . 2) Accelerate the vehicle according to the obstacle you are trying to over come with noting the condition of the terrain that you are driving on. Trust me You will do just fine with this basic notes

@@ghostofsparta6579 Yes ghost....100% agree. I'd add one thing...next time he's buying tires, get all terrain. It makes such a difference. Just airing down with all-terrains is a game changer. I know buying 4 new tires isn't cheap, but if someone is buying new ones anyway, it doesn't cost much more. ...Anyway, good for this guy for having fun, going for it, and sharing the footage with the rest of us. I gave it a 👍.

Change all drivetrain fluids in this Pathfinder immediately. Front and rear differential fluids most important on this. Then transfer case. Then Transmission. Will work much better.

@@OFFROADexpeditionTRAVELERae Rear differential fluid is probably the most important.If it switches in and out of 4 wheel drive okay then the transfer case fluid is fine. Some of the Pathfinders have limited slip rear diff and some don't. It is hard to know which any one of them have. Use limited slip oil either way. 75/90

@@user-cl9ks9kt2l changing fluids does fuck all on that terrain, these things have open diffs, so basically new off road tyres and lower the pressure down to around 15-20 psi for max grip and don't be afraid to punch it when you need to, mine one is a 3.2 diesel and in low range would walk up there in a heartbeat

Its the tyres, their basically road tyres, a decent set of AT tyres would help immensely.

My setup is way better than this. With the LSD I scored off an Xterra I rarely even need to use my 4x4. this trail would be a breeze in 2 wheel drive for me. lol. Here's a walkthrough of my rig: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q6Spm6anidO3m7g.html
