I must have watched this video a hundred times when it first came out. Good memories of practicing stunts on my own and with buddies. As a high school kid in 2008, I’d watch videos on KZread and share to Facebook. Great times 😌

I think, If you want to dislike, Maybe post a vid of you doing better!

That front manual/stoppie is toooo awesome. My gut tells me *you'd* be able to do it on anything - but for learning, the disc brakes seem crucial for that one trick in a very huge way. Are they? In general is it even worth attempting the stuff on a bike that wasn't built for it? In terms of skill, I could probably do it with some direction given what I can already do on flat land. I have a Klein Pulse and Trek 6700, both are hardtails, the Klein has calipers, V brakes on the Trek.

disc brakes are not mandatory, you can use any brakes with a nice setup.

Nothing is mandatory, well I suppose a front wheel is. Disks will certainly make it easier though. If you watch Roadbike party and road bike party 2 on KZread the one guy does the most insane front manual down a curvy mountain road on a roadbike of all things.

ich übe jetzt seit 2 monaten mtb stunts (ich darf mich auch schon als "fortgeschrittener" nennen :-D) mich hats nur einmal richtig reingeschlagen als ich die füße auf den lenker gelegt habe und freihändig gefahren bin :D das vorderrad ist weggeklappt und ich bin mit dem gesicht auf dem Asphalt gelandet :/ zum glück hatt ich nen helm :)

This video inspired me to do wheelie two years ago. That time i wasnt even able to hold on a wheelie. Now i am able to hold on to wheelie as long as i want, and able to turn left and right. Looking back when i first started to wheelie, i was not very sure i am able to learn to wheelie... Thanks for this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U can use any gear u want. I have a bike with 24 gears. At first i used the lowest gear then got little bit higher and higher and farther and farther. Now i can wheelie pretty much as far as i want and i use front 2 gear and back 3 or 4 gear. It also of course depends on your speed. U cant use low gear in high speed and opposite. But first u gotta font the gear that fits you. Hope this helps :)

***** no its not for mountain biking it can be used for dirt jumping, mountain bike has a lot more bigger suspension fork and a rear shock. and its a lot softer
