The western roads seem to use EMD leaders a bit more than out east. Certainly nice to see!

The aerial shots with the drone are fantastic. I have always loved Tehachapi. Looks like a model train layout. You captured it well with your video. Thanks for posting . I Gave you a sub and thumbs up.

Watching from Austria. We were so fortunate to see a train on the Tehachapi loop on a trip to California a few years ago. Quite by chance we found a vantage point and sat for hours watching!! At what speed do those juggernauts travel on the loop, up and down?

Mid DPUs are a rarity on this line.. and arguably more so than most other lines.

So sad to see the engines and trailers covered with graffiti. Do any passenger trains use the loop?

What is the amount of cancer, acid rain and climate change causing fossil exhaust gases and fine particles entering lungs for sicknesses that these diesels produce? Instead of warfare (to secure the oil source) investments should they put some efforts for electric overhead wires to these lines? The loop is a great engineering achievement though.

Surprisingly low. I’ve been to Tehachapi multiple times this year, and I can tell you the air up there’s pretty clean. The rain’s fine, and I’m not sure about the cancer rates, but I’m fairly certain it’s somewhat low
