I would wait until you build "The Shop" at the ranch. Add a loading dock there because that's where your forklift will live. The wall will get you by until then

The astro turf would look okay in the golf cart. But you are right about making it removable so you can shake the dirt out or hose it off. It might also keep you from burning your feet on a hot day if your barefoot on the black rubber mat.

My vote is to keep it ranch-friendly. As far as painting it goes, I'd use bed liner. I think there are some DIY brands out there (if you're in to doing it yourself to keep cost down) that you can color-tint so you can pick something other than black. The wheels/tires and stance do look sick though.

I third this notion. put the fake turf rug in there, glue it down. finish fixing the roof and then? honestly? go a little more. try and fiber glass any cracks in the body, sand it and spray paint it bronze to match the wheels. leave the seats the way they are.

I don't know whether I will ever buy one of these but I totally enjoyed your video of the golf cart restoration and because you remind me of a very very dear friend! Good carting to you!

The golf cart would be awesome to cruise around in at all the various truck shows and it would also give you a reason to get custom upholstery and a sweet paint job

Do a bed-liner that matches the rims, and yes, keep the turf as a floor mat! Love it! With a sturdy roof and some awesome floodlights (like the minitruck) you'll have the baddest ranch-golf-work-cruise-cart in town 👍👍👍

wrap the golf cart in a WORKFORIT theme, & maybe install rock lights

I say bedline the body, build a custom “off-road” style roof with some round lights up top and maybe some new led headlights, then do custom stitching seats and make it a show tourer

I like it, chopped my lake golf cart roof 4 inch's in front. Also put solar panel on the roof, never plugged in entire summer. My nephew put that lift kit on his and we upgraded the motor...so sick now!

Some times I look at how good your craftsmanship is, and some times I look at the stuff you do like loading that golf cart and wonder how you ever get anything done. But at least it’s entertaining.

My friends loaned me a golf cart to use up at the cabin to drive around the neighborhood. It had that fold down back seat to turn it into a little pickup. And was very handy especially when I had to take a dead skunk down to the trash dump.

You are building a cartel style entrance, cart has to match the vibe. I say full 80s neon graphics and colors on it.

You can still do a pipe frame for the golf cart, get quick disconnect for the frame [ weld it in place ] put the other part of the disconnect on the roof piece. Then build it up for the roof [ no bending required ] [ just notch and gusset / weld it together.... Either aluminum or steel for your roofing then Bolt on with rubber grommet or welded together to your gussets...

*Buggies Unlimited has bolt in roll bars for the golf cart. Cheap and works well.*

You should have tried a spark plug socket, they are usually thinner than a impact socket.

Whatever you do make sure you use aluminum for the new roof and bars. Steel is just a lot of weight lol.

They half fold down front windows for the golf carts. Those are pretty cool cuz you have the windshield when you need it and can fold the top half down when you don't want it there. check it out I think it would work well for you

I forget where I ordered it for our golf carts but they make a quick little upholster kit and it has lasted on ours for like the last 12 years and it was like a hundred bucks or something like that

Should have cut the windshield in half, added some hinges and made it a flood down. Get the benefit of air flow when need and wind/rain protection when needed

Ryan get yourself some scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner spray it on the seats with the scrub brush will look brand new. And then you get some boat seat conditioner. 👍

I would put an 2 cylinder diesel engine with your with your suspension lift kit and get rid of the electric engines that you're using for the golf cart now, dual battery kit, and lights / sound kit [ blue tooth music ].... It'll be dope and run like a dream [ ride and looks / sound ]....
