EXTREME Colorful Sunfish URBAN Creek Fishing
Спорт
NEW CFA STORE creekfishingadventures.store/ The sunfish were on FIRE in a new creek that i was fishing in western Kentucky. I used to live about 45 minutes from this place but never fished it before. I was not sure what fish were in here but quickly found out there was many different species and tons of longear, redbreast and rock bass, along with other fish including a Surprise gar catch.

I'm 65 and it still brings a thrill to my heart every time I get to fish in a small creek. A simple pole and hook and can of worms the simple things in life.
Went ultralight fishing today, a lot of unexpected catches, that’s why I love it. Keep it up
you got me into fishing, I've caught 26 fish in a tiny creek, 19 were bluegill, 3 were perch, 2 were Red breast, 1 was Catfish, and 1 was Bass, all small, but tricky and fun to catch!

I watch a lot of fishing youtubers, and every once in a while my little sister will watch with me. You are one of about 5 who I watchthat I am never afraid to watch with her because I know that your words and actions are of jesus and not of this world.

I have caught many redbreast, green and bluegill sunfish. Their beautiful fish!
If your gonna fish "little river" in hoptown, use the roster tail. Any color.

Creek Fishing Adventures Creek Monster with Teeth!!!! 🤣😂
Haven’t even watched yet know it’s gonna be great!!
Those redbreast belong in an aquarium some where, I'm surprised you don't run into more snakes stepping over those downed trees like that. Another good video, got my son and coworkers watching, they want to form a creek club and start hitting the creeks lol

Love your channel so much!! You have re ignited my love for creek fishing!! I used to do it all of the time, then gave it up for years. Thank You and Peace be with you.
Hi John. I love your take on fishing. I too was a creek explorer, and that excitement is still in me. My dad and I would drive until we came to a bridge, park and explore with UL tackle. What fun. There is adventure everywhere. Thanks for a fun inviting channel. Paul
I highly recommend learning how to flyfish. Between the spin ultralight and 3wt flyrod on small creeks like this, opens a whole new world. There's a learning curve for sure but well worth the time. Thanks for these great videos, brings back nice memories.

Garfish are real beauties! When I was in SC we used to catch some of them. Such a nice fish!!! Absolutely impressing to me. Thank you for some nice memories.
I love small creek and stream fishing. I also truly appreciate someone who is not a trophy bass fisherman, but prefers finding those intimate hidden honey holes and spots that no one ever visits. The solitude and the unexpected bonanza of feisty fish caught on lightweight gear is something I have loved all my life. It's nice to know someone else thinks like I do. The only problem is, he is a much better fisherman than I am. I'm at once jealous, envious and disappointed that I'm not there to experience what he does everyday. Not fair!
Another great video dude. Beautiful fish in that creek. Very grateful for these videos. Thanks for staying on talking about fishing.
I was wondering if you were going to upload something today, did one final check and yes, I’ve got 20 minutes to go on a creek fishing adventure!

I enjoy watching your fishing video. Thanks
Really nice video. I'm a creek fisher too, so much more action than over fished lakes, and the variety of species is so much fun. Thanks for sharing!
I took my 11yr old daughter creek fishing for the first time. There were gar, but we didn't have the gear. Went back the next day and they were gone. We watch you videos together. She is the best fishing buddy.

We caught 13 assorted sunfish on our second trip to the creek.
I was just wow he's hardly moved at all and has all those fish already, and you said the same thing. That's an amazing find in that small creek. Ok. Enough of my comments, on to watch the rest of this one and some of the other ones that I'm still catching up on. Happy fishing.
Got a bluegill to hit a small jig today. Always used red worms in the past so trying different things. Great video
Nice video brother 👍🏻👍🏻 please keep on posting these . I truly enjoy watching them !!
Watching you has helped me slay the sun fish. Thanks
Thank you John, for another great video
John this was an awsome video as alway. I finally got to go creek wadding yesterday with my dad and we caught alot of bass and rockbass. After I got married and had kids we dont get to go like we used to so it was really fun. I had a really good smallmouth on but he jumped and spit it. Caught several on that super spook puppy in bone color. Stay safe and tight lines.👊👍
thanks for another awesome fishing trip Sir 👍👍✌ please continue to stay safe, be positive & careful 👍👍✌
Awesome video! Definitely need to get a ultralight setup for sure, it looks like so much fun!

You need to give it a try , got into it about 25 years ago and it is a blast . I use a 4ft. 6in. rod with a 500 size reel and 2lb. mono . Every fish feels like a giant .
Okies! I’m going to go grab my chair, my fishing pack Amy my pole and head to the local church pond to catch some fishes! It’s too nice outside!
The redbreast is the most colorful of all sunfish I think. Awesome video as always stay safe.

Yes a great video again i wish i can go fishing watching this one whoa great video creek fishing love it
Those were some AMAZING fish
This lake is beautiful and has big fish, congratulations your fishing was incredible.👍🎣😉 Stay with God always!
I lived in Hoptown for awhile, while stationed at Ft Campbell.I fished that creek quite a bit. I once caught a white crappie over by the library. That creek is a panfish magnet, for some reason the fish never get much size to them, but with ultra light tackle, you can definitely have a blast.

Urban fishing is usually great. Most people don't do it. Great video John. Thanks.
Rock Bass and Warmouths are two of my favorite species to fish for...along with Smallmouth Bass and Stripers/Hybrids.
Love ultralight fishing creeks, throwing small plastic jigs and the occasional spinner. Wish we had long ear sunfish and gar in NJ.
Beautiful fish ....the one at the end was gorgeous...
Slaying them!!
Thanks! Enjoyed the video!
Great video. Your right those sunfish are really colorful. The gar you caught was pretty neat too. I was wondering if this fish would show it's face since they seem to be everywhere.
DUDE.. Y'all hit the jackpot!!! I've never seen so many fish in one little spot. Makes me sorry that I live up North. I LOVE eating Sunny, Blue Gill, Red Breasts, Calico. They have the greatest taste when you fillet them and pan fry them with Corn meal breading. Thanks for taking us along. God bless: Dave
Most wholesome and entertaining fishing videos on the site.
Man, did this video bring back memories of when I was a boy. Great video.
Love it! Keep up the good work brother!!
Ya just never know until ya wet a hook! It's like Forest said, 'It's like a box of chocolates' great vid brother!
It's good to travel if you have the resources, but it's always nice to explore your own neighborhood.
Awesome video sir, after watching this I’ve made my mind up. I’m going fishing in the creek after church tomorrow

My favorite river is 90% redbreast, 8% pumpkinseed, 2% Bluegills That topwater popper is the Storm Hopper Popper. I have the same one. The sunfish love them.
Good fishin! Dude those last fish need to be shown in an aquarium they were so pretty. Ok. Be safe! God bless! Keep up the good work!

New to your channel and absolutely love your content brother
Another great video . Love this type of fishing , find yourself a creek or pond close to home . Don't need to spend a ton of money on gear . A few hours of fishin makes everything alright .
Good luck good there’s a lot of fish in there
Glad to see you had fun & sharing!
you caught 1 gar (Lepiosteus spp.), 3 longears (Lepomis megalotis), 4 largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides), 9 rock bass (Ambloplites rupeatris), and 7 redbreasts (Lepomis auritus)! I don’t know which gar you caught so I just put the species name. And the green sunfish again is so cute!
Beautiful fish

ging bass fishing tomarrow on my kayak (:
Those gar know that there is a lot of food up in there. Fishing is a lot easier than the river in smaller pools.
Anybody else love to hear that reel whiine ???? Exciting!!!
Nice mr.

I'm from hopkinsville. You should try Ben's mill on the little river. Note. The little river eventually runs into Barkley lake. The entire length of the river is fishable.

Fishing is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what you are going to pull outta the water!
love the intro :)
I’m early woohoo nice vid let’s go fishing 🎣
Ya know I love your intro by the way. That greeny attacking the camera. Did it take long to male by the way. They actually stock those guys in a pond near me average about 8 yo 10 inches. Tough they ate farm raised. They hit pretty much everything. Especially roosters and road runners. Fish on👌👍😊.

it was from one of my first videos, just videoing a minnowtrap underwater
I hear that train, railroad tracks = fish most of the time. Along with back roads. Drag that gar out on the bank. It's very strong fish. Good gloves help. Welding glove is not a bad thing to have in your bag if you know there are gar, muskie, even pike. I normally carried a mechanic style glove. a baby raccoon can't bite through a welding glove.
I haven't been to Hopkinsville in awhile. Were you fishing by the Piggly Wiggly supermarket or down by the library? Spawning season plus the clearer water really bring out the colors in sunfish. Thanks for taking us!
Boy there are alot of different fish in that creek
