I wanted to say that your videos and companionable speech must be doing wonders for other women who may be somewhat isolated and stressed by their lives where care-taking of children is the main focus of their days. The emphasis you put on self-acceptance and a positive approach to self-talk as you go through your responsibilities is uplifting and indicates to me a wonderful coping style. And a kind heart! Wish I had had a friend like you when mine were small but glad to learn about you even though they are grown. What a lovely way you have of helping a person feel welcome and included! I feel you . I always try to keep up with my house,because of my anxiety, even though it’s exhausting at times . But quiet honestly , having a messy home, feels so much more rewarding once you get it all cleaned up, rather then being on top of it all the time and see not much of a difference.

Kim! I laughed out loud when you said you were 'putting on some real clothes'! Yes I know all about this: I enable a different mindset when I am fully dressed in things I could and would wear out in the community and not sweats, pajamas, or lounge wear (charitably used here- might be oldest clothing I own). And I have on that fabulous foundation garment that works but is inevitably not comfortable... This changes everything and I step up and get out of that desperate feeling when the clutter and mess is overwhelming. You are so right! -- I enjoy your videos and what you have to say. It is refreshing to hear someone more like myself in that the home is not an almost perfect one which needs a little maintenance but a real working house with limited monetary resources with which to address issues. (not that it's wrong to have that type of home just that I don't) I can relate to your thinking and challenges. -- Thank you for offering this one! Good for you! Keep it up as I will be anticipating the next video you post.--🤗

To your question… I have had small victories in some areas of my house. However, I still have a ways to go before I could say straighten and be done. I am taking your “have grace” mentality not to beat myself up and be proud of what I can accomplish. Thank you for your raw moments. It is inspirational.

Kim...where are you? You ok? I see this video was posted a month ago. I'm the person who's husband had esophageal cancer diagnosed 17 months ago...and this past Feb. 7th he is diagnosed with stage 4 and all they can do is try to beat the cancer back to just maybe give him some extra time.....anyway ever since that day its like I can't move, think, or what ever but I am watchin you today and see what I can get done. I agree decluttering is a process. I declutter a couple times a year . Usually beginning of the year,in the spring and before school starts up. It does get easier the more you do. It. I just got home from my full time job now going to throw in a load of laundry. Love your videos! 😊😊. Have a great week

Kim, it seems like you may have been playing the "see how bad the house can get before it bothers my husband enough to do something" game lol I'm happy you did post this video!! This can help so many people when they see this mess and see how you can get it cleaned up. I see this and think "if this girl can clean up this disaster and make it look like that, I can clean up my disaster and make it feel more comfortable."

I've heard this termed "rage cleaning" - LOL - when it gets to where you can't stand it, and nobody how much energy you have, you just work on pure adrenaline. LOL! I struggle with anxiety and depression too, and you can really start to see how I've struggled when you look into closets and cabinets. On the outside, it's picked up (not necessarily CLEAN) but picked up. Behind closed doors, a different story! So, I get it! No judgement here!

We’ve just gone through a major health scare. Both of us are pretty scared and depressed. You are doing great! Not only are you helping yourself but others too! Dont worry about Christmas! We never got ours up!

O bom é que você leva tudo isso com leveza, fazendo o que realmente dá pra ser feito sem se preocupar com a opinião de outras pessoas. Até mesmo nos comentários desnecessários sobre você estar grávida ou não , você responde com tranquilidade, acho que nós mulheres deveríamos ser um pouco compreensivas e pensarmos ou pouco mais antes de comentar alguma coisa. Mas você tira de letra isso ( quer dizer que você lida bem com tudo isso). Um grande abraço ❤.
