Some of these machines are not bull dozers. Most of them are tractors with forestry plows and other equipment but the other machines are bull dozers

That wheeled tool looks really handy for clearing out the stumps of plantations after they have been cut and ready them for replanting. Although I wonder if it is worth the effort when those stumps will just become organic matter if left alone within what 20 years or so?

Definitely a lot of uneducated comments here. Most of the processes here is used for plantation forestry. What you see here is scrub lands being transformed into forests. What is being removed before planting has little benefit both economically or environmentally compared to what a full forest can provide. Wood is the ultimate renewable resource; it stores carbon for life and a plantation forest is like a carbon filter on steroids, as the process is repeated and renewed ever 20-30 years. The timber trees produce end up in our homes which is a lot more beneficial for the environment than building a structure from steel and concrete.

Notice how every company manufacturer always comes up with their own goofy ass way to do the same job and most seem like they barely do it properly, each tractor has some drag along attachment that looks like it was designed in a backyard.

Seems like a waste in Australia to tear out forests to plant what? Seems like it is going to be quite difficult to get anything to grow there so why remove the forest. Really hope I'm wrong and crops grow there easily without the need for additional water or fertilizer.

The use of a large ship anchor chain pulled between two large crawler tractors to pull down or uproot brush is standard range management and soils management tool used to convert tracts to crops, grazing lands and farming. If there was a market and value to the shrubs and brush they would be harvested. We wore supply air or full face respirators when chaining US Forest Service pinyon-oak biomes in Arizona due to Valley Fever and other respired mycorhyzall spores infecting your lungs and blood stream.

I don't like to be a party pooper, but I just worry about the archaeological artefacts lying at and just below soil level being ruined. Eg old clay pipes, Roman chariots and daggers, diamond broaches and bronze age burial caskets being smashed.
