If you want to get rid of your yellow or orange you should buy 1 box of BLUE BLACK DYE and put 1cm of tube + same amount of developer and mix it with 3 tablespoons of shampoo or conditioner. Apply on dry hair and let it sit for 1 or 2 minutes then rinse. This is a hairdresser technique called rinsage. I have tried this and got shiny silver hair instead of brassy yellow tones.

I dye my hair dark ash blonde and i have a little bit of orange tone.I want to try this but i am afraid of silver.I prefer ash.If i try this on dark ash blonde,will it turn silver or ashy?

@@matinachatz7146 this method neutralises orange and yellow tones after failing to dye your hair ash blonde. All yellow and orange strands are gone turning into a neutral natural light brown, ash blonde or silver blonde, depending on how light your hair is. It will NOT lighten your hair. If you are unsure, try only to dye the orange parts with a 6.11 or 7.11 dye box (25 minutes application) then you will get your orange parts covered and turned into a light ash brown/medium ash blonde.

@@marangainissen9115 you do it after bleaching/dying as if you were toning your hair. It is the cheapest technique. You can also apply a toner but it will be more expensive and I don't know if it will be effective. Depends of your level of yellowness or brassiness.

It’s a very pretty color, but to get platinum, like on the box, you need to pre-bleach to level 10-12, then tone it

Totally agree, ineffective colouring, patches of lighter pours hair. Awwww get that bleach on and blast those dark roots. Doesn’t everyone want there ends to match the roots??

totally agree im 10 level blonde and it’s currently processing

The finished result is lovely and fresh though compared to the starting :) not platinum but still a clean bright blonde.

Yes with those home colors the result not as great as with professional ones.

I remember this video I was looking up loreal 11.21 you came up with this video for 10.21 lol 11.21 lifts colour by 3 levels your hair still came out good though can see the difference it turned out a pretty colour

Yanallure, the color for roots or roots Oranges is OK, this is the color correct...maybe you must use the same number 10,21 but of professional line, not the pharmacy box. I used 10.21 only for tonalizer my hightlight but just 2 min.in the root and 15 second and the rest oh the hightlight.

Just a quick tip for anyone also trying to achieve this color to remember: COLOR DOESN'T LIFT COLOR. If you are trying to achieve a color that is darker or equal to your current color, you can use a standard box dye like this to successfully match it, but if the desired color is ANY lighter than your current hair color, even just slightly, you MUST lighten the hair with bleach first. The easiest way to think about it is to picture drawing with markers and paper. Let's say you have a white piece of paper (blonde) and a black piece of paper (brunette) and you're going to draw on them with a light yellow marker and a dark black marker. The white paper is going to easily show both colors, exactly as the color appears on the marker. The darker, black paper, however, will only show the black marker, the light yellow colored marker is not going to be visible because it's lighter than the color of the paper. This is the exact same principle of hair color. This color can still be achieved on dark hair too, you just must always remember that any color lighter than your current color, you must prelighten the hair first. Hope this helps! 🙂

Preference 10.21 is a Very Light Pearl Blonde if you apply it over Dark Blonde to Light Blonde you will get Pearl or Pearl Beige Blonde. Light Brown will become Warm Beige Blonde.

Your hair is to dark for this color. You will need to bleach it first you will not achieve a platnium blonde without bleaching it. The color is pretty I'd just tone it to keep your hair healthy try fonola purple shampoo leave it on for 5 minutes.

Purple shampoo doesn't really help on the roots, only a shadow root technique with a toner can help (any dye box 6 or 7 ash or professional toner).

Use the blonde platinum toner, it your roots, the same way you dye it, i.e. sections and a brush, do it quickly and leave it on your hair for 5 minutes And rinse thoroughly, you'll thank me later :) I use the company's Maximum toner The principle of toner is simple, if you use ink 9, then you must have blue toner, i.e. ash toner, if you use 10 + dye, you must have purple toner, i.e. platinum First, apply the toner to the already dyed regrowth. 5 minutes and rinse. Then apply to the entire hair including the roots and leave for 5 minutes. That's why, because the regrowth will always turn out the yellowest, and the rest will The hair is already in an almost perfect shade, if you put it all in at once, the rest of the hair will be too light, to the point of turning purple, and the regrowth will still be too warm. I know it takes some work,but it's worth it

To be honest I think L'OREAL trying to keep it safe for the home usage. For them better a lower result rather than bold clients 😂 who misuse the product. So I can understand them. Plus, for professional hair stylists they have professional products for hair color.

@@rebecar3067 😂 yes this color not going to change or lift too much, just 1-2 levels up max, but if you had strong pigment in hair then it could totally turn yellow. Once I had dark hair and I colored, i became orange like a clown 😂🤡 The following morning I run to a salon 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yanallure I know!! I had to bleach my whole hair and applied 9.21 from alfaparf professional!! It looks perfect now 😍 this box supermaket blond colors never more ! 😅

Hahaha what is wrong with u people,how u can make light shade if u dont bleach first to white with oxidant. And this comments and videos are from any kind age women how to do it without bleach haha if u has thin hair u cant ,with strong mark become golden
