Remember, Woo was #1 in her class, but Choi was #2 in the same class.

To answer the question you and your mom have about what does hanbada have against woo’s mom there is a deleted scene from the show it’s on KZread it’s an official clip from Netflix but the scene shows how hanbada was betrayed and why she holds the grudge. I have no idea why they would cut the scene being the show focuses on it so much but hopefully this helps 😊

I forgot the exact name of that video but I think it was Sea versus the Mountain or something similar.

Yes, I think Tae Soo-mi ‘stole' her boyfriend, when they were young, and he is now her husband.

She didn't leave the country to have the son, they said she left the country (she didn't) while pregnant with Young Woo to hide the pregnancy. Yes, that is Young Woo's half brother.

Yes, she only pretended to leave the country when she was pregnant with Young Woo. However, it is also mentioned at some point that the went abroad to give birth to her son, as if that was somehow a bad thing. I cant be sure, but i am guessing that the implication is that doing so is unpatriotic, since the motivation for doing so is likely to be so the child will have citizenship abroad, as well as in Korea. Most likely she went to the US, and her son as a result has dual citizenship. For someone running for high public office, this might be a political problem in Korea.

I'm not sure if you can find it but you should react to Forbidden Marriage if you have access after this show. It's a romance and the comedy is top notch.
