@@ibstummyhurt8057realistically to be able to feel, distinguish, and eventually manipulate with the many atoms in the universe to do feats like transmutation or whatever would require a lot of patience given that there over a sextillion atoms in just 0.05 mL of water and over 1.5 sextillion molecules in the same amount. Sure, it would be easier to sort of recognize groups of them and not fret over every small atom, but rearranging atoms to form different molecules to create/mutate something requires that level of focus (and then patience, as after a while most people would already be bored after counting to 1,00).

The omni-presence you talk about is actually more extrasensory perception. Omni-presence is the ability to be absolutely anywhere and everywhere at once. While extrasensory perception is the ability to have a sort of sixth sense that allows you to see what’s going on around you without usage of your senses(i.e vision, taste, smell, hearing, and touch). A danger sense is kind of a variation of this. Since it’s still a sort of extrasensory perception. Sorry if i sound nagging or annoying, i just wanted to tell you that you made a slight misunderstanding Edit: wow, did not at all expect that any comment i made would get over 100 likes in any capacity, the most i expected was maybe 50 if i was lucky

I like the limitations on powers more than the straight power itself. I’ve always understood that telekinesis only works on concrete objects with definite boundaries, with limits on the weight or speed of the object being tied to physical exertion for the user. So you could grab a car with your mind, but wouldn’t be able to lift every single grain of sand on a beach because that’s too much for your mind to control.

I'm the opposite. I hate limitations. I feel like with this power you could do anything and the writers always write them weak. To lift any thing no matter the size and to feel the objects around you and move them without even looking. You could use hands ,mind or both(most powerful). If I had to put a limit it would be a radius. I could control every and anything in a 400m sphere, that includes underground. So if your 400m away I can't touch you.

A hyper-advanced telekinetic could be able to "feel" and manipulate the fabric of space time down to the Planck level, essentially weaving reality to his or her whims. Or do things like warp space to at a localized level to bend incoming projectiles around them or even become invisible or teleport.

Sadly most users of the power aren't able to manipulate things at a molecular level, or at least, don't grow strong/efficient enough to do so.

This video made me realize that telekinesis is an even more powerful ability than I already knew it to be, which is really impressive.

A telekinetic could make light only hit their pupils, so they could see, but unless you knew exactly what you were looking for and when to look for it + had amazing eyesight, they would remain unseen. And even if they were spotted, people would call it a ghost story. Plus, unlike people with invisibility, they can also make their cloths invisible, giving them a HUGE advantage.

Another power would be creating pockets of void. They can make a tiny sphere without any air, then remove the space within to create a void, this would of course require a cosmic level telekinetic, but still possible.

What he's talking about is really PSYCHOKINESIS, which includes telekinesis, pyrokinesis, aquakinesis, etc. Also, omnipresence is not like Spider-man's spider sense, it's like Daredevil's radar sense. Something he failed to mention about transmutation is that the mass of the transmuted item stays the same. Therefore, if you were to transmute air into gold, you'd have to use a LOT of air to make any sizable amount of gold (there's not much mass in air, but gold has a lot of mass in even a tiny bit). As for super-strength, he's talking about tactile telekinesis. The Superman clone called Superboy (Conner Kent) has this power as a way to simulate Superman's super-strength. He forgot about using TK to fly, reinforce the structural integrity of large things so they don't crumble from their own weight (example: When Superman picks up a building by gripping only one corner of it, the resultant stresses should tear it apart), open wormholes for teleportation, disintegrate matter by breaking the bonds holding it together, disassemble machines or anything with more than one part, etc.

@@nduduzoblose4355 That's a good one! It's definitely theoretically possible. However, it would take a great deal of concentration, will power, and a massive amount of personal power. And you'd want to do it from a safe distance, of course. I know of one case in which magic did it. SPOILER ALERT!!! In the classic miniseries "Camelot 3000," King Arthur returns not just in the time of England's greatest need, but also Earth's greatest need as aliens from an undiscovered 10th planet launch an attack at the behest of Morgan Lemay. Arthur gathers a handful of his Knights (reincarnated) to beat back the aliens. They eventually end up taking the fight to the aliens' homeworld, and as a way to end the fight and kill Morgan, Arthur embeds Excalibur in a stone, the magically sharp edge of the sword splitting an atom, creating a nuclear explosion.

They can straight up disintegrate someone by tearing their molecules apart, they could also teleport someone by doing the same thing, just putting them back together really quickly (this is how spawn teleports, he just tears his own molecules apart and puts them back together, causing immense pain for a fraction of a second, and usually vomiting)

For the invisibility, I would allow light to bounce off of my eyes, but carefully use the infrared light my body produces as a sort of light shield to contain that light or change its wavelength to infrared. This would still allow me to see while being invisible, at least in theory. Just a thought.

Being able to breathe underwater and having omni presence would be two great powers/abilities for telepaths to have. Also would a telepath be able to manipulate a person’s blood in their body to control them? It would be cool if telepaths could do that

Most of these depend on having an atomic perception, however most depictions of telekinesis it is the micro control that becomes one of the most prominent obstacles in terms of the power. so being able to transmute, go invis, or separate water molecules, u would need possibly a lifetime of practice to acheive these results.

You could also probably mind control someone by moving the signals in the brain, but that would probably need extensive knowledge of how the brain works and you could alternatively just make someone unconscious and then move around the body parts and vocal chords for a simpler difficulty

I can finally understand why telekinesis is so desired and loved so much

If telekinesis can be used for healing, I'm assuming this power might be able to reverse aging with enough practice - so potentially living forever if you're skilled enough? Or at least fixing any serious pre-existing conditions that came up with growing up? I'd definitely ask and/or even pay for someone to use that to eliminate my epilepsy since that around come up until senior year of college, assuming I wasn't skilled enough to fix that myself in that sort of situation. But about the Jedi thing, does that mean a telekinetic could get someone else to do whatever they want via just using a hand gesture and saying a single sentence? Because that is literally potentially the most awesome thing that Jedi (or Sith) can actually do in my opinion, and I'd love to be able to do that!!

I always thought, that if by speeding up charades molecules generates fire, would stopping those molecules would generate ice (I also thought that speedster could this sort of things because since they can vibrate the molecules and make other things move in a determined level of speed, would they be able to stop someone with their own strength of via vibrating molecules like unable to make them move or even gather them in a specific area for close range combat like spider-man 2099, so it give me the idea that can generate ice by stopping molecules but it would be harder according to this video’s explanation, so thanks)

You could have summed up the Fire, Ice, and Electricity to Elemental powers. One ability that I think that could be done with Telekinetic is Reverse Aging. If you are an old person with gray hair, bad back, weak eyes, old wrinkles, and waaayy past 60, you could (with precision, skill, and knowledge) theoretically, telekinetically manipulate and repair your DNA back to when you were in your 20s, thus theoretically, restore your youth. With this ability, you could theoretically become a biological immortal and thus not die of aging. Yes this ability could fall under the healing category, but still a very nice ability.

With the ability to heal then a telepath could likely cure paralysis by realigning the person’s spine/nerves

If you where able to focus your telekenisis in one spot in the air, you could probably create an explosion of energy with it

I think a telekinetic could possibly perform abilities similar to Overhaul from My Hero Academia, only they would not need to touch the object to change its entire structure. Essentially it’s just manipulating the molecules and form of the objects around you for various abilities as was said in the video.

This is why Superboy is in a hole other level and don't actually need his kryptonian abilities especially New 52 Superboy.

You are assuming that the user of the telekinesis have no limits even though the sheer factor of having a human brain (thus a limited amount of processing power and stamina) would give them limitations. This includes things such as: the amount of mass they can affect, how precisely they can affect it, at what level can they affect it (whether it is down to molecular level or deeper or not as deep), how quickly they can affect/move it, the amount of distance their telekinesis can work up to, the amount of time they can use telekinesis before they exhaust themselves and so on. Having telekinesis alone also doesn't ensure that you have a telekinesis based sense either since it can also be limited to things that the user can sense with their basic senses or even be limited to a single sense such as their sight. Everything depends on how and why the telekinesis works.

This is awesome! I thought telekinesis was so boring but I watched this video and I realized that telekinetic powers are super powerful and cool these powers are probably my 2nd favorite and I think telekinesis can also crush metal like a can. Kind of like that guy from incredible 2 he’s the big dude with the blue/black costume and he can crush metal and other substances which this kind of useful I love your videos! Keep making more!

It can't do literally anything unfortunately but it sure does seem like a power that'd basically make living a happy life for eternity possible.

How'd you change someone's mass with telekinesis? Where would the mass come from? You can't make something out of nothing. Also most telekenetics aren't powerful enough to manipulate molecules and atoms... And it's not like they'd just be able to do so, sounds like something difficult to do.

I would like to make a case for indestructibility and phasing. Well, assuming they can specifically move specific atoms and parts, they can rearrange their atomic skin structure to just be hard in general to cut or blow up. Like transmutation, they can even change their skin into specific metals and materials like steel and diamond. As for phasing, the only reason we don't phase is because the empty space around an atom is constantly I guess invaded by a part moving around really fast like a fan. The other problem is that you would need be aware of the atoms and parts spinning around or else you could crash or something. Best thing is that you could use the clothes as well so you do have to be naked. But you can move your atoms around other atoms essentially warping into stuff and moving through walls.

So in some way I can make my own species. That will be so cool so I can save the Amazon rain forest by turning some of the animals into monsters to fight back

You're not talking about Telekinesis you talking about matter manipulation

This is supposing the telekinesis is so precisethat it works at an Atomic, no, Sub-Atomic level, and so general that allows you to control things like light, but someone who could control everything made out of molecules, probably wouldn't be able to manipulate light, fire, or vibrations for example, and couldn't change the structure of an atom, being able to control everything without exceptions might be closer to reality bending.

I believe they could phase by control there own atoms and molecules or those of witch that are in object making the move fast enough that you could walk through them

With telekinesis you can do kind of everything because telekinesis (based on some real studis) is the base for other kinetic powers how psychokinesis is ability to control energy what with training can develope telepathy and telekinesis. And if you google psychokinesis it will either say to is the ability to move objects with your mind or to is ability to comunicate with someone's mind or control them. Same how humanity learned to use electricity to communicate at the being and how whe learned to use electricity to move objects trough tools and vegicles.

Wouldn’t a telekinetic also be able to fly by using telekinesis on them self?

Let the light hit your eyes so you can see, but then don't let the light reflecting off your eyes hit anyone else's eyes. Boom! Invisible but not blind. Of course you'd have to be very very skilled to pull this off, so I see why people don't talk about it much

About the being invisible part You can also change what everyone sees just in general by binding light around them
