Tarantino said in an interview that if an actor that he's directing is doing bad at acting in the scene, he will tell the actor to eat something while doing the scene. Tarantino said that when an actor eats in a scene it's makes their acting seem better. That's why the blonde girl is practically inhaling her burger and fries in the deleted scene with me Orange and the black guy.

Eating and smoking to hide that awkwardness, I spot that, and see it like training wheels for acting. It has nothing to do with the actor being good or bad, many really good actors will be cigarette actors for some parts. Some that are not good actors, will be that for all parts. There is also James Dean's kids. Actors that wouldn't exist if James Dean did not. Like Michael Madsen.

its not just Tarantino, we have known for a long time that our monkey brain makes us think that people eating is more attractive, the primal thought process is about, that guy has food, he can take care of himself, he is eating in front of me, he is confident he can fight me if I try to steal it, thats why Brad Pitt is always eating in movies, all movies, even before he worked with Tarantino

Tarantino is so passionate about film. Everyone needs at least one friend with this level of passion for something, anything that's healthy, in their lives'. 54:00:00 Tarantino's recount of his dinner is fairly interesting. His story, with his actors, reading his script, with his direction. His movie. It goes to show that the ideal and perfect existence for everyone, their created perfect world is always when the one dreaming it or living it is in complete control of it all. Penn's Lawrence Tierney story at 2:00:00 is funny as fuck. Penn is a great raconteur. What a bunch of characters. I would love to be a character actor in one of Tarantino's films. That's a bucket list item of mine.

Those deleted scenes were so bad. And the Sundance footage with QT as White? Wtf. Haha. You gotta admire his commitment to quality though. Imagine having to tell the blonde girl, yeah, all that work you did, we ain't using any of it. Thank God he cut it. That would have slowed the movie down so much.

Monte Hellman talking about activating the viewer by leaving little gaps in his movie that they have to fill in. This is one of the key things I learned going to school for graphic design. You sometimes imply a form, or leave a bridge in the meaning that the viewer can fill in with their imagination. One of my favorite directors. Cockfighter is currently on Amazon Prime btw.

Chris Penn SAD😢 "Penn was found dead in his Santa Monica apartment on January 24, 2006, at the age of 40.[7] An autopsy and subsequent toxicology report performed by a Los Angeles County medical examiner revealed the primary cause of death was heart disease. The report also noted that the prescription drug promethazine with codeine and an enlarged heart were possible contributing factors to his death.[8] The toxicology report revealed that Valium, morphine, marijuana and an elevated level of codeine were found in his bloodstream.[9] Penn gained considerable weight throughout the 1990s. Sean Penn said in an interview on Larry King Live that his brother probably died because of his weight.[10] Penn's grave is located at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California.[11]"
