    Wow, thank you for this video Phil! I've been discussing this subject with a lot of my customers. I tell them that when we properly maintain our vehicles (and your video is the perfect example)...the protection is infinite because we are constantly maintaining it "the right way" and by adding protection with each wash.

    I like Ethos products as well. I have been using their regular car soap for a long time as I think it not only cleans well but has a lot of lubricity. Defy is a good drying aide as well as a waterless wash medium for lightly dirty cars. Resist is another one of their good products. Nice update 👍✌️☮️

    Interesting….well the apc rinse is done before the contact wash, so I wouldn’t touch the paint with a panel wipe before actually rinsing and contact washing. Is that what you meant?

  • @noodle3872

    @noodle3872

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@MirandaDetailing Yes, use a panel prep in the same manner you use your APC prior to a contact wash. I saw another channel use panel prep after using a rinse less wash on a vehicle. I believe their thinking is similar to why you use an APC rinse only the panel prep was used AFTER the rinse less wash. So I’m left wondering if using the panel prep rinse prior to to the contact wash would achieve similar or better results than an APC rinse.

    Hi. Thanks! We use the 1.5 vac hose and it preforms great. Sometimes I get stuff stuck in the nozzles but not in the hose part itself. At 50Ft is looses very little suction but not enough to make it difficult to use.

    Very nice!! And in 30 minutes?? To quote a movie you just told me to watch... AHEM... "OH MY LANTA!" LOL!! Yeah, I noticed that when you properly maintain the paint on the car, the wash and detail time gets cut in half. Dirt, grime, bugs, road biker blood just washed RIGHT off with no effort. Plus the drying time, thanks to water beading, is also halved versus unprotected paint. I just applied another coat of wax on the entire car today (been 3 months), I still had some Mother's Carnuba paste wax left, so might as well finish it before I start using my turtle wax hybrid solutions products. But one thing I like to do is also paste wax my windows, rear windshield, and front windshield. Like the spray products you use, the paste wax, for whatever reason, last A LOT longer than the spray sealants/waxes/protectants. I have no idea why. And any products that get onto the rubber seals/trim, I use the iso alchy you recommended. Gasoline still works as well, might as well finish my bottle with gasoline in it. By the way, hopefully you do a video about this one day, but when I was detailing my interior on the 2000 S4, I noticed that the plastic and especially my steering wheel has formed a sticky/greasy film on it now. I do not know how to get rid of it. If I do any wiping, it starts sticking. And before you ask, yes, I used rubber protection to avoid a mess when I am detailing. "I would definitely bring protection." LMAO! But seriously, I looked back at your old videos, and I don't know if I watched it yet, but this sticky film is really annoying. I used the 303 Interior Cleaner/Protectant about a few weeks ago, and then when I used the TW Interior Cleaner and then the Protectant, it activated something. I didn't use the 303 spray anywhere else, not even the dash. But the steering wheel... I dunno man. Please help. And no, I am not the Deion Sanders of retards. HAHA!

  • @MirandaDetailing

    😂😂😂 SO awesome man!! Love that movie! Iove hearing feedback like this. As far as the sticky situation on the steering wheel I have encountered that before and for whatever reason some chemicals have a bad reaction and do that. But I haven't narrowed it down to what or why it happens. Its so weird. Sometimes heat and chemicals sets it off and disintegrates. Unfortunately I don't have a remedy. I have seen Audi's, VW's, and BMW's all do that.

  • @harrynazarian3184

    @@MirandaDetailing HAHA! Dude, I was laughing when I was adding those quotes in. I was in tears! Surprised I never watched this movie before. Yeah, same here about that sticky film. Porsche is even worse, because when the film gets sticky like that, when you try and wipe it, it will take the paint with it. Ooof... On my M3, when I had that sticky situation happen, I use denatured alcohol (very sparingly!!!!) and it actually dried up the plastic and leather just enough for me to re-treat it. I don't have any left, but I am going to get some more at the Home Despot and see if that does the trick. Again, very sparingly. Or actually, now that I think about it, an APC like spray Nine or ZEP 505 Degreaser should work as well. Maybe dilute it 5:1, see what happens. What a cockblock! Hopefully this works. Then I can tell the sticky film "Goodbye, Hooker Lady!" By the way, Phil. I was thinking. You should come up with a slogan. You know like "Life is like a box of chocolates," or "Take my hands, boss" like that monster tard off of "Green Mile" LMAO!!

    @@MirandaDetailing "Smooth move, Ajax" with that saying. LMAO!! My God, this movie is like the mother of slogans! By the way, it has worked before. Just hoping it works again if spray nine or Zep 505 don't work. But you have to be very careful, especially on old interiors. Too much and you dry it out, and take the dye with it. Too little, and it just leaves a funky smell and the medal of shame.

    Great video my friend. First of all….I still get a kick outta watching your wife rinsing close to wherever you’re working! Secondly…whatever product is on top is what’s providing the water beading in this case Defy and that’s ok. I use the same system except I use the products from The Last Coat. Black Ice, Last Soap, Amp in that order. I only use the Amp topper every 2 months. Car still beading water after 11 months. Lastly…if your wife says film it, THEN FILM IT😂!

    Thanks! Well I’m still growing and learning myself. KZread’s algorithm is so weird and arbitrary, I have researched so many ways to grow and I have done everything in my power to implement what I have learned. Honestly I think it comes down to what people want to watch and there’s not much I can do besides what I am already doing. I watch Nick Nimmon, and Think Media, and so many other channels that help you to improve, but at the end of the day people choose what they want to watch I guess. I just keep on doing what I’m doing and that’s all I can do.
