I think the footballing IQ of Trossad is so underrated ...he always outsmarts the defenders...that is one area Martinelli is lacking in else he could be our own Luis Suarez.

It's no rocket science - Trossard, Jesus, Martinelli & Saka to start games together... I.e. at the expense of Havertz... To be fair, Havertz is no better than Eddie or Reiss Nelson.

Havertz is actually saving this team with just his body.. he has used it to protect the ball for too many times now, he is as fast or faster than both reiss and nketiah he can score headers, he can defend and get the ball back unlike both Reiss and Eddie​.. dont get me wrong he cant kick a ball to save his self but he is what this team is missing.. a big guy who can do the dirty work@@gavinvonmeyer3746

If Trossard consistently played as a 9 in some games, we could be way ahead. He is probably our most clinical attacker.

Yup.. his job as defender if he can't block the ball at least keep pressing the striker to 'filtered' the shot. Thats the big difference in ESR10 situation, second goal aston villa. Emile did pressing the striker but bit weak, can't blame him tho he's not defender/dmf. Also watkins is on fire lol

Great to see them get right back on their feet again. I love Rice and all he brings to our team. But in that 2nd goal we scored, Rice was bringing the ball forward and eventually made the pass to Havertz on the right. However, Martinelli on the left looked like he was in a better position to score on the left. Had Rice made the pass to Martinelli, the latter would've been on-goal with more space than Havertz and Odegaard. Its this kind of thing that makes me unsure whether Rice can be the long term left number 8, or he needs more time in that position and more practice time solidifying a partnership with Martinelli the same way Xhaka did last seaon. On the ball vision is not elite level......yet.

Martinelli should be 9, with Jesus as 11 they will be alternating and Trossard comes in for either of them depending on the tactic, Eddie, Smith, Odegaard, Viera, Saka, Reiss, Havertz, Partey, Rice should try the lone CAM with 2 holding midfielders and 3 forwards upfront. They've all created a goal from that position or pose threat . Reason for this suggestion is because the left hand side is being neglected not much football ever goes on that side....left midfield mostly we need a presence that can score balancingly on the left and Right..then for the box midfield cage them with Smith , Martinelli and Jorghino for 90 minutes. Odegaard should try the 9 alternating with Martinelli at 10...they both need a bit of what the other one has. Partey can playmake 10 as Odegaard. Odegaard should be able to playmake from any position 11, 7,6,4 , midfield of 5 at RM and LM...he should be moving everywhere. ....and able to stick at that other position, Declan should stay as 8 going forward let's decorate him in goals,assists runs runs runs to shoot. Havertz still got it as a 10 but he's excelled at 9 and 8 as well..... enjoy them in rotation in game. Odegaard should run the 9 role to put himself in the shoes of those he's passing to....cause let's be honest bro Xhaka was never going to score that left reverse elastico you did. You and Brahim Diaz have similar qualities we gotta work on your weaknesses too because at 9 you'll always run you go back to 10 you offer Saka runs as support..runs that end in you scoring....you need to work harder at your finishing because it's there and it's beautiful. Martinelli should just learn how to shoot more with his left leg. Just like Saka improving shooting with his right leg.. A 'complete' forward/striker is good on both legs.

Why is the sound so half-assed?
