I love that Southhapton stole some points from Spurs, but that wasn't a penalty.

I really hate that rule about not putting the up offside flag right away. Walcott was hurt in a passage of play that didn’t need to happen.

I understand why players and coaches would dislike the rule, but as a viewer I prefer it, partly because I get to see more chances, and partly because I know VAR will get the decision right in the end. Modern football needs every bit of extra entertainment, so to me that's worth the price.

problem is it isn't always correct even when it looks obvious. I've seen linesmen call offside on rashford when he was in his own half before. Rash was way ahead of the defensive line but the defensive line was in the MU half. Refs are human. so better to play to the whistle to avoid errors

In all fairness there is contact though and when your gonna kick that late and far from the ball, it’s always gonna be a pen in todays game. As it’s certainly soft and wouldn’t have been a pen back in the 90’s and before, but these days they’re always given

I didn't watch the entire match, but how is the last one a penalty? The handball by Ainsley looks more like a penalty than that. The FA needs to start an investigation against these referees.
