I can’t fathom how Chris Wood did that other than he used the pace of the cross to almost header it from behind himself. Great technique

combination of aurier being on fire with the assists, calculates in his mind how powerful the shot needs to be to reach wood, wood simply directs the ball. Absolute classic

Last season we would probably have lost this game so a big step forward from SC and the team. Both our goals came from Aurier doubling up with Brennan which didn’t happen last season, and to be fair we should have scored at least one more 1st half. Definitely an improving team that will not be involved in a relegation dogfight if we keep this up, and we still have quality players to come back from injury. COYR 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️

Putting 11 in the box at corners allows the sort of goal that Sheff Utd scored. We need a couple on the edge of the area to fight for possession when we clear it.

So many positives in this one match, Gibbs-White being a true 10, Aurier's inch-perfect crosses, Brennan working hard on the right flank... If we can keep this up we shouldn't be involved in a relegation battle

Not sure why every team comes to the City Ground and end up scoring goal of the month

A pulsating game, and that’s what we fans want. Fantastic! Regarding the back three, I prefer Boly in the middle not Joe Worrall. Joe was getting tangled up with bot Boly and McKenna. That caused as many problems as the Sheffield forwards! Needs attention. The only other negative was a few slack passes, but you cannot have 100 mins of perfection

In hindsight I think Forest just about deserved the 3 points but were a bit lucky to get them in the end. How many more "worldies" are we going to concede this season though?

It looks like a worldid but both goals this season were us not clearing our lines. Full sight of goal at the edge of the box......

Worrall and McKenna are scary

Not the greatest performance but job done. 3-4 quality signings in the key areas and we will be avoiding any relegation worries.

Played decent and showed sparks of PL quality. McKenna is a liability, but in the end we got the three points, job done. We really need to leave players just off the box to clear our lines properly, we've conceeded two this way already this season.

I am happy for the win, but it was a very poor performance by the reds in this game I must say. The defence looked horrible at times. Will be better when Felipe and Niakhate returns to the pitch I am sure. COYR!
