The last goal by Westham was the handball, but one before that was legal. The ref/VAR stole 2 points from Westham!!! The ref has a condo in Birmingham, that's why!

But it wasn’t handball before going in, it came off bowens face and in so a misuse of the rule by the referee and some fans

So VAR took an exceptional long time to make their thoughts known to the referee, but he only took seconds to change his initial decision, very strange, especially from someone who was on VAR for our game against Chelsea and struck off what looked like a perfectly good goal from Cornet. Maybe the PGMOL should change the rule for VAR to have a time limit which if they’re unable to give a definitive decision then the referee’s original decision should stand.

I can't help but think that we are a few Steidten gems from really upsetting the apple cart at the moment. We overwhelmed a very good Villa side for large periods of that game, especially in the first half. Though I do agree that it was the right idea to go more defensive around the 65-minute mark, my sub would have been - Phillips for Antonio, 4-5-1, Paqueta shifted to the left and rather than Bowen up top, I would have left Kudus up top to offer that outlet. Perhaps that is something we can consider in similar circumstances moving forward. Every point is essential for the rest of the season. I do think there will be times to employ Moyes's low-block strategy, but I think there has to be times we genuinely look to overwhelm teams as we did on Sunday.

Ok the last goal was handball but the Antonio one wasn't, first off the elbow isn't handball, so many times people get away with the ball hitting the elbow also Antonio has his hands right by his side, where else his he went to put them ? Might aswell have them chopped off

@@polaris7122 oh near, you clearly don't watch much football do you, well Coventry scored with the elbow recently against wolves and the goal was given, the amount of times I've seen players not penalised for the ball hitting the elbow, guess different teams different rules 🙄🙄
