I can confirm the same, still running original gears and pins…. 5 years and must be over 500 miles laters and less than 90 degrees of slop at the tire

@@zackliska2103 none that are a result of the design. Only real failure I had was bearings after about a year (definitely because of rust). If you’re in water make sure all metal internals have a coating of marine grease. People say stock servos can die quickly, but if you make sure the endpoints are set right they’ll last a good while. Mine did.
My wife and I are new to RC. We have a Slash 2wd and Slash 2wd VXL. We’re having a BLAST. Every video I watch of yours is too notch…and makes me want to buy all your cars! Once we’re better drivers, we’ll definitely be purchasing more. Thanks!

This was an absolute game changer.
I painted it Dark Green, now it looks exactly like my Landrover. Absolutely nice work Traxxas.
I love my red TRX-4! Can't wait to get the Bronco this Christmas. I get a new Traxxas RC every year for my present to myself. I thought retirement was going to be hard to deal with. Not anymore, thanks TRAXXAS!

I would have to say if I had a choice for free to pick one RC Ready to run crawler out of all the crawlers on the market. I would have to say the TRX4. I am not getting paid for this and just saying. This out of the box it's one of the best trail crawlers I have ever owned by far. Well done Traxxas like always!!!

Hey! I was just showing my dad this video and he said "man that almost looks real" and I said "it would probably look real if you slowed it down", so I set the play speed to x0.75 and gee it honestly looks so real. Maybe try slowing your footage down while you're editing and see how it looks? Just a thought!

I have run a 1410 1y 3'800kv 4 pole, in the SCX10 II on 3s. At least I was asking to keep it all Traxxas by running the 4 pole VXL 😈 And yep totally crazy, I like the borderline insanity when I'm out playing rc trucks. It's actually pretty exciting!!! And you are right with the 3s wheelie video, it's pretty peppy stock out of the box! "TRX-4 SE-VXL" 😈 there all better with the new Brushless name tag ;}

Garrett Luong, I didn't have a brushed esc yet when I built the kit. However I did have a 1410 1y 3'800kv with the SV3 system, that I pulled from my B6 buggy. And that little SCX10 II was pretty much unstoppable!!! 😈
