Hey, This video was really helpful!! I was just handed a Radiomaster Zorro with an external HappyModel modules and I didnt know how everything worked. It was so frutrating. Now I understand why Lua script is necessary and why the firmwares are necessary. Thanks a lot! Really helps for my project!

ok, followed all the steps here and went from a elrs brick to a whoop that is bound and getting stick movement in beta flight. THANKYOU so much for this video and the help you gave me on FaceBook. I really want to donate to your page. or patreon. im just ready to go figure out how to setup the betaflight part and get my moving stick assigned to the right controll.

I just recently updated the firmware on all my Rx’s and Tx. For the longest, I couldn’t figure out why some Channels were missing and I could not go past 250mw on my Tx. Long story short: make sure you select the right hardware in the configurator when building the firmware!

I have never found ELRS difficult, but I had started with Frsky plugged into my radio to flash. Aside from no silk screening on several boards. I just always bought HM EP1 and EP2 until radiomaster started to make them. Or at least put their name on them, I assume HM makes them for Radiomaster. I always look for the jump pad to identify the ground. The only issue I ever had was flashing 3.x to all the 2.x receivers in my fleet. accounting for the flash size difference, 4 out of 12 needed to be flashed using passthrough (2) or an FTDI (2). but yeah, that was a PITA, but still better than FRSKY for your diamond board with SPI, you must not be on BF 4.3 which has the ELRS 3.0 built in.

I read the Elrs website several times and muddled through the process the first time. But yeah, it simple stuff after that.. I will have to look at my Diamond, I'm pretty sure it's on 4.3...🤔

Also, the boards without silkscreening are 🤬...🤣

The Boxer has Edge TX, building the LUA script in in Express LRS..

This video really helped me with my Boxer, where other videos missing key inputs. Thanks. Have a different subject question about myMG90S sevro. It rotates 180 degrees when pluged in. Is there a setting just to get 90 Degrees right & left movements? Thanks

Morning, Lost my settings / ELRS being seen , have a issue with my Boxer not seeing the new "LAU" script. Its stilling showing factory "2.8.0" factory. I cannot even open the "ELRS". Not sure what I am missing. Have reflashes the setting several times 3.3 Thanks

I should learn not to comment while Im watching. do you create a model for each quad? I never use model match. I understand why you do. but it all depends on if you are prone to plugging in multiple quads at once, but I suppose if your are at a race or conducting a class. Im super paranoid of plugging in, like Ill forget and trash my battery, so I always unplug, and always use the same model for my entire fleet.

No, I have all my sized classes on one model (all my 5inch racers on one).. I've accidentally plugged 2 quads in at a race after a crash. It's sorta scary, really, lol...

I use model match for this reason: I have 5 quads 2” Freestyle , 2.5” Cinewhoop, 3”, 5” freestyle , 7” Cruiser/ semi-long-range. Now if I had just 5 5” quads then, no, I would not be using model match.
