Video covering a Runescape 3 Botting community with 1500 + members...
The content of this video is for entertainment purposes only.
I have tried to keep the botting server and the players in it anonymous
as my intention is not to start a witch hunt. I do not recommend players
enticed by this video to seek out the server, website or software
as it may be harmful to your computer & personal data. Botting is against the rules of Runescape and will get your account banned,
whether that's today or tomorrow.

Don't forget about the Bots that are doing 2k Zamorak Enrage, there was a streamer couple months back showcasing this. Love the idea of bringing more people in to beware of this type of stuff including selling IFB titles (since around 2017) , Slayer collection logs / clue grinds for HCIM & IM for EOF's / collecting secondary herblore ingredients / ect.

Stoner logic i swear. The average player isn't running a botfarm and is just abusing public scripts therefor isn't spending any more than a normal player in terms of membership. To say Jagex allows the bots to line their pockets shows how little people know about the struggle of the anti-cheat team.
I certainly won't lie: the temptation to bot on my main was, and still is, overwhelming ever since I was an 11-year-old skipping homework and studying to "play" RuneScape (sit at a screen and alch for 5 hours or WC yews in the Gnome Stronghold for just as long). I've come close to downloading Powerbot like a few of my friends in school did, but here's the rub: *everyone* I know IRL who botted, and whether it was their main or an alt, those accounts got *banned.* I am quite literally the *only* person in my *entire* circle of friends (IRL and online) who still has the original account he made when he was a fucking preteen. That's a SOBERING fucking realisation to have. Imagine all those years of progress flushed down the drain because you were too lazy to git gud. It's a pretty fucking strong deterrent to an intrepid preteen turned teenager turned adult when you know damn well just how many people got banned for botting, how fucking stupid the shit they got banned for was, and how attached I am to my main from 2007 that I have damn near max stats on after like what, 17 years of playing?

I get the same feeling especially after watching a few botting to max series on youtube. they lasted for quite some time but they were no lifing the bots so im like hey. if i was to bot and keep it reasonable and not run it 24/7 i might get away with it and seems to be more secure in terms of bot detection since the scripts are being ran in the cloud vs injected. kinda like osrs runelite bots have lower ban detection vs injected bots like dreambot etc. That said i never went with it i spent too much time on my main to risk it again since i had a macro ban(major) ~ a decade ago. i forgot what bot it was but i only used it for a few hours and got slammed lol it was bad. that got appealed. too paranoid to even make a new account on a different computer with its own ip and stuff i don't want any potential crosslap at all. so we are staying legit!

ty for the partial tutorial 😎
Shiiittt!! I did not think botting was anywhere near as high as this video showed. I'm strictly an ironman, so the economy doesnt affect me with all these bot drops, however it is still upsetting to see this game version being heavily botted as well =/
I used to bot when I was younger, never to the extent some people do. However, as I got older I noticed I'd quit playing for a long time quickly after using bots. This was because I was taking the fun out of the game. There's no sense of reward if you achieve a goal through botting, so it actually damages your experience as a player. What really solidified this belief for me was when I made my ironman at the mining/smithing rework. And if you gave a brand new player an account with a comp cape, they wouldn't know what to do or understand the time/effort it took to get there. Unfortunately, it's impossible for Jagex to get rid of all bots. Botting basically just turns any game into an idle game.
The reason you need to disable anticheat is because cheat software interacts with the game in the same way some malware does (using techniques such as code injection or methods to evade detection by the runescape client). It doesn't mean they are doing shady things, and to be honest you don't need to be a genius to write malware that doesn't get detected by AV software anyway.
@checker297
Ай бұрын
lol if you think that I have a bridge to sell you. AV is pretty damn good these days and mostly you will exclude stuff for performance based reasons ie might get file locks on network based shares, but a bot client has no reason for this. If a bot client cant operate without it, it is doing something shady, or having the ability to do stuff which is shady
@painnmisery2582
Ай бұрын
@@checker297 of course it has the *ability* to do something shady. most the shit running on your pc does. injection + read/write memory + function hooking/calling. all the same things malware uses as well as every cheat ever created barring simple macros/pixel bots. a bot client cant operate without it because its the core concept of how most bots(or even non bot cheats) except pixel bots work. i cant tell you how many times ive made a bot/hack for a game and it gets flagged one compile, but not another. particularly defender. defender is awful, constantly flags my own stuff, or stuff that is open source (example: cheat engine) knowing damn well its fine. this is the one that theyre probably wanting you to disable for that exact reason. an actual antimalware/antivirus false flags these types of programs far less then defender.
@holly_hacker
29 күн бұрын
@@checker297 No, AV will frequently block software based on heuristics which include age, how common software is and what API calls it does. A lot of cheat software is also obfuscated to prevent people from cracking it or to prevent anti-cheat creators from learning how it works, which has a very high false-positive rate with AVs. I've seen it block legitimate software plenty of times, including my own stuff as I compile it.
Someone must put a stop to this injustice.

I made some 'cool woodcutting bot accounts' and was happy until I felt that it didn't really feel like an achievement. And idc if they'll try to extract most profit from me I'll do the same from them.
Bots are needed to maintain rs3 economy and there aint a thing jagex can do about it tbh... Who do you think makes supplies cheap? Its that or jagex directly selling items Although ofc they make bonds prices high due to demand, which is bad... I used to have a botfarm a few years ago(50-60 accs), just realised its more worth my time actually working and buying bonds to fund my main anyway... I do not know which software they are selling/negotiating in particular in rs3 and what im saying is from experience on 2018-2021 id say. Things might have changed, couldnt tell but from what Ive seen in the video its almost the same as it was back then
The unfortunate truth is that bots make Jagex money, so getting rid of them isn't in their best financial interest. However as most likely use bonds for membership, there is an argument that they are not making as much money off from them because that is less membership fees in their pockets and if in game bond prices are high, they sell less bonds too as players need to buy less to get to their GP goals

Really? I've heard of that happening years back. Surprised to see it still happening :o
I think Jagex should provide an additional automation skill in the game that can compete with these bots in some capacities. Or more afk ways to gather these resources without it being just a grind/time tax. If someone wants to have a machine supply the GE with resources nobody gives a shit to collect anymore then I'm fine with it. Makes it easier for me to get the supplies I want. I think boss botting is excessive, I get that the goal is farming for gold/rwt. I'm fine if that stays against the rules. But I am curious how GE equipment prices would change if boss afking was more accessible. But the economy already lacks so many items in the GE having a regular supply, and if we can't get new players to help build that supply then let the bots do it so I can get my supplies when I'm playing rather than having to wait for it to settle overnight.
wild and brazen. Hopefully Jagex does something about this. I've played since the original bot nuke. I don't want to see RS3 get back to those levels.
I feel like I would only need a bot to learn a new skill without having to ask 100 questions. lol
1:30 usually because injecting code into processes is getting flagged by AVs, because malware does the exact same thing, no point in botting though as skilling macros made with drivers like icue wont get you caught either way.

Theres bots blatantly botting 200m skills @ max guild that haven't been banned for years, they get reported daily too
I think maybe the engine would have further improved if Jagex didnt gatekeep who worked for them, and didnt treat Jmods like some kind of rare unicorn we never see, gold crowns should be familiar to familiar players, personally i think jagex needs to hire passionate and dedicated players in order to address the main issues at hand, its like a school teacher, nobodys gonna tell them whos misbehaving, so hire more players 🤷♂️
Cheating for RMT is what has ruined tarkov. Hopefully it doesnt do the same to RS3
Dont mind bots. People have jobs and this game already takes a lifetime to master.
The game with 15,000 concurrent players cannot afford to ban people
when i see those videos with loot from 1000 clue scroll boxes and whatnot xd i immediately think fcker boted it
I think they need to ban the PVM botters because thats just shitty of them to allow that. But, I do see the value in having gathering bots lol. I don't want to pay 60k for a rocktail in the future because the bots are banned..
lmao what did yall think happened in this game? how many times when you are around other playing skilling or killing do they interact at all? this is why the game feels empty all the time even when you are surrounded by many players. it's just a big bot farm
bot makers will always be more skilled than corporate greed!
botting? idek how you guys can even play that game with a membership. its too overwhelming.
I refuse to be a bot.

@@oakforgeminiatures7862 I'd rather fight Zamorak with negative accuracy than be a bot.

@@oakforgeminiatures7862prime for the selling
imagine using a bot to push buttons and use abilities that plays the game for you, they need a bot to play the game just for the bot to use abilities that plays the game for it xD
No wonder why everything has the price it has nowadays... Those prices need to drop.
