I watched this channel many years ago, I'm delighted to see it pop up in my recommended feed. I love the new slow pace. The increasing fast/loud content was one of the things that drove me away when the channel changed and got a new name back then, even though I admired all of you. I also used one of the Matthias intro songs as a ringtone on one of my old phones. Sue me. please don't

Just wanted to say that even me being kind of old for your channel (i'm currently 43), in 2020 I was totally devastated by some terrible personal problems and I was SO depressed I couldn't even cry, or eat, or listening or watch anything... I caught myself watching loads of Dope or Nope videos... They kind of helped me a lot through those dark days! I'm very happy and glad you are back! And with an AWESOME VIDEO! Kudos Dude!!!

12:00 - My mom had an antique shop in the 90s and 00s, I was anywhere from 4 to 18 when I'd go around with her and look for antiques with her. I remember once finding a stereoscopic viewer with a few hundred slides, and it was incredible to look at factories from the 1910s or a countryside in the 30s through those slides. The only thing you needed was the viewer and the slide, obviously it was a still image... but it almost felt like being there even though most of the images were black and white.

Man I forgot how charismatic you are on camera Matt! So happy to see you back being yourself, and being a fan for almost a decade, you have always been a part of the downtime of my lifetime, if that makes sense. Here’s to more for the future!🥂
