Not just $61 but, they charged more for bikes and bus. I was like WTF, why would I pay someone to go there? Not only that, they're charging you for a table and then the audacity to only order a certain meal as the other person had to get the exact same meal. No thank you, I'll pass.

I wanted to also say you are right that seems like it's set up to benefit the people running, it doesn't really seem organized or designed to actually make sure that the people that are basically paying them to have good time. Really it just seemed very uncomfortable for you guys and not much like a picnic. Then to add insult to injury it seems like to then ask you to act like you had a good time and wave that little white cloth around. To be honest that seems designed just to fool the next group of people into thinking it's going to be a wonderful time. I was glad to see that you and your friends at least had a good time towards the end of it. Anyway I enjoyed your video, and I am going to subscribe to your channel so I can watch more of them.

You should experience the one in Greenville SC. I’ve been twice. We had a blast from beginning to end. It’s a different experience than just going to the club. You can order what you want, not the same for each person or bring your own. The band was there from the beginning and when they left there was a DJ. It’s not for everybody because some people don’t think it’s worth the money to buy all the essentials that are needed and bring your own food to sit outside all dressed up but if that’s the case it’s not for you. I felt that way the first time as I was preparing to go, but once we got there, the experience was amazing. You should look it up on KZread in all the different cities and countries around the world and see how they celebrate. It’s amazing.

This started in France …it’s not an American invention… it’s been adopted by other countries and each state/ country does it different it depends on the cities sponsors .. you can bring outside food and drink, wear shorts etc as long as the attire is white…. it’s a fancy picnic… sounds like the organizers for the event that he attended were not true to the decorum and rules…
What? This is ridiculous. You might as well make your own picnic with your friends. They charge you to walk? So basically they had you provide all your own things and then post it on social media it making it look like they organized this great event. What a scam!

Getting angry watching this... this is a completely messed up ripoff. And them rudely turning your group away for wearing shorts when plenty of other people wore them is infuriating. I think that's a very generous 2. I'm glad some people still managed to enjoy themselves but that's more of a credit to them for having a good spirit and optimistic attitude than anything the organizers did. Also, thank you for shouting out the musicians and performers at the event, it's not their fault that the people running the show suck.
When I heard about this years ago, I told my hubby and we both agreed that we’d prefer going out to a nice restaurant, over bringing our own food and everything else, just to feel like you’re at an exclusive event. I’m not impressed at this idea, and yes, it has scam written all over it. 😬🙄

First I want to say hello, I've never watch the channel before this is my first time and I did enjoy the video.

I got invited, but when they said bring your own food, I was like Why would I pay to bring my wine food? No thanks. I know several people who went. No one has ever come back and told me how much fun they had 😂😂😂
This review was so accurate. A overrated picnic is definitely what it is. And you're right, everybody's definition of a good time is different.....OBVIOUSLY!!
