That pony play to get into the secret room was met with extreme disrespect. I personally was impressed as hell with that move.

wasn't there options to tweak the effect of EID ? i remember specifically disabling the fact that it tells you what the pill/card does if it's to be purchased in a shop

Will delete this comment if it gets answered later in the run - but IIRC, ipecac, dr. fetus, epic fetus, and probably more ka-boom themed items all used to have a 50% damage via self explosion to make them less punishing. However, if you got two of these items, it just became 100% damage reduction. I also can't find support for this on the wiki, so I could be entirely incorrect. But I swear I remember reading about this at some point. Busted run man! Congratz!
