Im from Maine in the USA, 2003 went to Vernon 3k miles on a Greyhound to meet some girl off the internet.. lol, loved this place for some reason or another, thanks for the vid, takes me back, maybe visit again someday.

Very good job for showing Vernon on your walk tour. When I walk downtown in any city, "most" of downtown roads can be determined by where you heading. Avenue runs West / East and Street runs North / South. Might be visiting Vernon next year. I want to know if driving from Vancouver to Vernon in early October is a good time or will I encounter a snowy/icy highway?

Yes in October there is usually snow on the highway ( Coquihalla)

@@wdewilde1361 I like all the town's and cities in the Okanagan but why I love Vernon because my grandma used to take me there with her to go shopping at the mall there but why I love Kelowna because it's very beautiful especially the back country side and rural areas of Kelowna but im not a big fan of Downtown just with the crime that's happening but I feel for the homeless so I don't even ride my bike to Downtown Kelowna now I just take the bus I'm hoping that Tom Dyes our new mayor will help these homeless people
