Mate, if you wanna eat Italian food, there's only one place to go: Napoli ! Venezia isn't really famous for pasta & pizza - it's famous for its seafood, fish and risotto (rice).. but I enjoy your videos anyway, Toba 😊👍🏻

as an italian, i completely agree with this comment. Venice is the absolute worst place to eat Italian food. You ate an overpriced cannoli ( a typical dessert from sicily, not venice) and a crappy (probably frozen) pizza at the same price as a 10/10 pizza in Naples. Overall, for cheap eats i'd recommend any southern Italian city like Naples, Palermo, Catania and Bari but try only the local specialties

The accommodation in mainland Venice (Mestre) is much cheaper than on the islands. The train and other transport run frequently and it costs only 1,5 €. Also another hack is if you have food for take away you don't pay the 2 € servizio.

I went to Venice in 2010, a can of cola was 8 euros on the street stalls.

The vending machine is a great idea. Imagine being caught short at night on a period or a one night stand. Great idea

Nice vid, hope u didnt drink too much spritz lol. place near Port B in Venice (kind of near square to the east a bit) called pizza and snack bar. Get big pizza slices for 2€. Proper decent too.

Sadly Venice is just a turist trap. It's not the right place to try italian food, usualy if stuff is not expensive, the quality is very low. For the same price you can eat almost gourme food in the rest of Italy.

I am from Venice, 10 euro for a pasta with basil it's way overkill, i can make It for you for less than 5, sadly if you are a tourist here you are basically a walking wallet

you were way overcharged, Cannoli are nomally 1.50 at most from an actualy bakery and the pizza isjust frozen rubbish, to find a decent pizza in italy there normally made rectagular in quite a length and the pasta i couldnt tell by the video but they normally have a pasta station thats visible if its fresh

The pasta looked sad and pathetic lol. Italy can really be overrated going on about how great they are at pasta and pizza. You'll find some nice places there but overall Italians not that great at pasta and pizza. Fact is not everyone or every place makes great pasta in Italy.

If you go on the central street of the most tourism city happen, go on normal city or village and you will see quality and cheep price, there are where Italian life... If you go on Central Venice is made for tourists and you will get tourists food and price

bruv u got the worst and expensive cannolo u could buy. buy locals stuff. cannolo is from sicily, down there u get the best one for half price. In italy every region, also every city have different food specialities. u just been scammed with a turist trap
