Exploring Tindholmur, Drangarnir & Mulafossur By Boat From Sorvagur, Vagar, Faroe Islands

The boat tour from Sørvágur to see Tindhólmur, Drangarnir, and Múlafossur is a really cool experience. We sailed close to the majestic sea-stacks Drangarnir, which lie between the islet Tindhólmur and Vágar Island. The tour offers an untouched view of these stunning sights, and we were lucky enough to sail through the sea arch itself! We also headed to the Múlafossur Waterfall, a signature feature of the Faroe Islands to watch the water cascading directly from the cliff's edge into the ocean. One of the main highlights of the trip was spotting the puffins, one of the most beloved bird species in the country. These charming birds are recognisable by their striking black and white plumage and bright orange beaks. They are small, with a compact build, and are excellent swimmers, using their wings to 'fly' underwater while hunting for fish. Puffins spend the majority of their lives at sea, only coming to land to breed. Observing puffins in their natural habitat offers a unique glimpse into the life of these fascinating and endearing birds.
