Exploring the site of Cheadle Railway Station in Staffordshire! Cheadle we the terminus of a 4 mile branch line from the Stoke-on-Trent to Derby line. If the line reopened it would be ideal for Alton Towers!

My old school. Painsley. 1979-84.
That path way use to be open at some point. I think the people who live close by complained about it been used every day when kids go home

It would be great if it could reopen. It was about a mile walk to the other side of the fence before I could start walking the old tracked.

Henry, we love your videos and have been looking at the history of the Cheadle and area railways . Are there just two in this series? Theres this one, and the one for the part near Tean/ Totmonslow, is there another re the collapsed tunnel?

Engineers trains picked up sand from Cheadle until November 1984.

@@HenrysAdventures ime right behind the old line diversion would be great to see it going again though the diversion branch hasn't run in part southern1947 1949 lifted are you doing the old route
