Gillian Anderson is a Rock Star. If you have not watched Sex Education on Netflix, it's amazing. Every single person in it is an amazing actor. She is legit, a feminist, lovely, intelligent and a positive role model in Hollywood, and there are so few of those who are real. She is the real deal. She was also simply fabulous in The Fall, as detective superintendent Stella Gibson. She totally embodied sort of "soft power" in that role. She didn't need to be loud or shout about her expertise to secure her authority. Before people start asking and commenting - Gillian is bidialectal (proficient in or using two dialects of the same language). Her accent will change depending on her surroundings. It’s natural to her. She is NOT bilingual which is speaking two LANGUAGES fluently. She is able to speak two different DIALECTS. Same concept. 🥰 Hope that clears things up.

John barrowman can also do it, although he does it between Scottish and American English. She’s not putting any effort. It IS her voice. She hasn’t been taught

One of my favorite ladies of all time. The absolute beautiful and gorgeous Gillian Anderson.

After like 25yrs I still find her so attractive and consistently awesome personality.

What a fun interview. She can be quite a hoot, and that matched up well with Colbert's "hootieness".

There are questions for conversation starters at parties. One is first celebrity crush. Many people give Gillian Anderson credit in helping them determine their sexual orientation.

She was my teen crush in X-files and still remains my crush in adulthood. She's perfect.

OMG, how does she do it? Gillian Anderson just gets more beautiful with age! She’s gone from that cute frumpy on the X-Files to a goddess! I remember watching an episode of Hannibal were she had this beautiful backless dress on and thinking “ what an incredible back!” Then I thought I’ve never thought about a back before.
