A US citizen now, I am born and raised in Wazirabad, maira sohna Wazirabad. It has been more than 30 years since we moved to the US, but my heart still feels the warmth and love of Wazirabad. I have seen many of the building showing in this awesome documentary. The feeling I have after seeing many of these places is incredible. You said it right, what ever is on this land is part of our heritage. This thought, unfortunately, is very rare in Pakistan. I am born and raised there but was forced to move because I am an Ahmadi Muslim. If the people of Pakistan can not stop their hate towards a person who says, believe, and live Kalima and believes and calls himself a Muslim, how can they feel love for Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians. May be it will happen, but not in our life time. May be it will happen after we are gone. But, still we can have a weak hope that it may happen in our life time, may be just may be.

Mr Baalwala, I was especially glad to see the temple in Badoki Gosain. I've had the pleasure of visiting the temple several times (I am from Gujranwala, living in Islamabad). I have an amazing story to share. I wrote about it during my visit. And the curious soul that I am, I eventually found a person who was the son of the family who had it built. It was so so satisfying. That gentleman moved to the other side of the border during partition and then eventually settled in Canada. I wrote a blog about it too. His memories and words still ring in my ear - the pond had clean water, and they used to swim in it. It was surrounded by many many trees and he said he remembered the call of the birds too!

Hello 👋 respected, I am from Hisar Haryana India watching your beautiful video 📸 shoot by you about wazirabad and its unique design building j,s Bagga house 🏠🏡, twins tample etc, the video shoot is really unique and beyond my imagination due to its historical value.

As a Hindu American of Pakistani origin, I would absolutely splurge on a trip to seen these ancestral temples should it be safe and if theyre respected and taken care of.

I am an Indian.....really impressed by your way of delivery of the history, burried deep in the land of Pakistan....I really wish I could visit these sites....Loved your videos showcasing the Buddhist heritage sites from Taxila. DIvided by borders united by History!

We Indians used to becomes sick just by the mention of Pakistan but now thanks to the some honest Podcaster and narrator like you who are like fresh breath in hot and humid summer everything is slowly changing

"Please always remember that to maintain such structures, it requires dedicated time and resources, both of which were lacking. Many of these buildings turned into ruins due to a lack of attendees. This exact scenario occurred almost two thousand years ago with the Buddhist temples in the region. Buddhists were subjected to genocide and forced out of their places of worship in the subcontinent by their rivals, who felt insecure and threatened by the rapid spread of the new faith and practices in the region. The same holds true for the Jain belief system. Their temples turned into ruins when attendees and caretakers nearly disappeared, especially in the Sindh region a long time ago. Jains were harassed and persecuted by their rivals in those days. Similarly, in the Mayan civilization of Mexico, many of their places of worship have long disappeared for almost the same reasons. The same fate befell the Red Indian (Red Slaves) civilization in the American continent when attendees dwindled in numbers, causing their places of worship to either disappear or become almost nonexistent. This pattern repeats across the world, as seen in Spain's Cordoba Mosque. For many centuries, it lay in ruins due to the absence of attendees and the resources needed for maintenance. To keep these places of worship in good shape, dedicated attendees, their time, and their resources are essential. Otherwise, they will deteriorate like many other structures we see around the world.

Beautiful video showing old buildings, temples and havelis. This is our heritage of Punjab. The is the history of Pakistan thousands of years. Pakistan must promote to the restoration of these historical site and welcome international tourists to come and see these beautiful sites.
