As far as solid state goes, these amps are amazing. It's not a tubed ampeg or orange pushing big air through an 8x10, so don't be thinking you will get that out of it. But for the money, especially if you can snag one used, these are my favorite on the market.
When can we get a new Bassman line? Theres 10 different Rumbles amps. Theres only 3 bassman amps two are massive in power 800w SS and 300w Tube and 1's a guitar amp. Can we get a multivoiced tube bassman that like 100 Watts.

They make more money on these, focusing on their bread and butter. There’s thousands and thousands of people who need a rumble for every 1 that needs a bass man….

Get yourself a SuperSonic 60, they're fairly cheap and while they're guitar amps, they have a Bassman circuit into them.

@@zynosgd9982 Im aware of those however thats not really what I'm thinking of. The older Bassman 100Ts were pretty great. I think the Super and the Hybrid are very similar but I think they are essentially just more power and more expensive while not adding anything over the legacy model. So Im hoping a new iteration will come out with more to work with than just an unusable amount of power for anything outside a big stage considering most stages are using in house PA anyways theres not really a huge need to blow the lid off of your house or studio.

@@alexcorona Yeah the rumbles are more common by far thats aways going to be the case. However I think this is really on the line considering the price and size of this rumble. The Rumble market and the Bassman market dont really overlap that much; however that doesnt mean there isnt a market for top end bass amplifiers. Quite honestly I think they got lazy with the super and hybrid bassmans they just threw more power at the 100T architecture and increased the cost. I think a revamp in the line is kinda needed.

I owned a Bassman 800 head for a month, and returned it ‘cause the Rumble 800 HD sound the same, is more versatile, less expansive, lighter and smaller. Bassmans are awesome but if youre not into the « looks » side of things, the Rumble just kills it. Take a look at the Rumble 800 head.
This is a great video, thanks!
Solid state really has finally gotten there. These are GREAT bass amps.
I hope its good for all genres.
A stage 800 in a head version would be nice …..

They have that already, its called the Fender Rumble 800HD i believe
would love to hear more clips tried one that sounded great but it was hard to tell in the room i was in since it had so much noise (the room not the amp)
best club combo ever built ....400 class D watts into 2 -10" neo speakers and 29 lbs.!?!??! It's loud and clear. My back thanks you. Can a 210 neo ext cab be far behind?
How significant is the volume difference from the 500? I know that there’s a 50w difference without a cab between each.
@subrag321
Жыл бұрын
So without the extension cab the 500 pushes 350 watts, and the 800 pushes 400. So not much difference there. However, the 500's speakers use ceramic magnets and the 800 uses neodymium magnets- so it is possible that they have greater sensitivity. I don't believe that Fender publishes those specs. In any case, it is going to be the speakers that are more important once you are up in this range of wattage.
Got one of these on the way. Been playing stacks forever but recently tore my knee and no help really from bandmates with my gear. Hoping it serves me well. Light enough i think i wont need to ask for help if i happen to be in pain that day. Hope its loud enough...
i need to work with youall at fender ,,,,
Is it loud enough for a garage band?
is that monty on bass?
So it's 800 Watts with an extension cab...what power is it without the extra cab?

400 watts without an extension cab based on my research. Fender needs to be more clear about disclosing that

@KingDavid thanks. I found out , but not from Fender. But Ampeg are as bad. Their Rocket is only 250 without an ext cab.

Great review...except for one thing...why do so many product reviewers HAVE to use a pick when showing an overdrive feature? Not everyone plays in a Tool tribute band. It'd be nice to hear how the overdrive sounds finger-style. Plenty of finger players use overdrive. Off the top of my head: Geddy, Billy Sheehan, Tim C., even Flea on occasion....Just my 2¢. Otherwise, great review though. I'm hghly interested in one of these.
21 year old starting to play bar/club gigs with my band. Been borrowing a Rumble 500 and looking to get my own. Should I buy a used Rumble 500 with a 2x10 extension or just a new Rumble 800?

You CAN, but it won't sound "right". If you are going to buy an amp specifically for guitar, there are plenty of great options out there. This is not one of them. That said, if you have to use one of these in a pinch, you'll get by, but it will be tough to get your sound to sit right in a mix with a band.

@@tylerpirc It has a tweeter with overdrive if it can withstand the powerful boom 🤯 of the bass it's as the announcer said it's universal to guitar 🎸 kicking jams they even played through it.

Bass amps can be used with guitar. I plug my guitar from time to time when I want a new sound. Just roll off the bass eq a bit. It's so clean. So if you're a bassist looking to buy a guitar, you can delay the guitar amp for a bit if you don't have budget.
One con . Just one input. Could be an issue for a live rig. Stuff happens in live situations I prefer a second input a buffered one for active players. Just my opinion.
Which AMPs from Fender are best for the beginners and intermediate players? Please reply.

If you are playing alone and not gigging a rumble 100 v3 is great! In a band setting my 100 is heard clearly, with that said we practice in a small garage. If you want extra room get a 200, and if you plan on gigging I would shoot for the 500
@MrSparks54

@@A.mzo.G Agree 100%. I have been playing over 50 years. I have a Rumble 100 v3 for band practice and a Rumble 500 I use at home and for gigs. I don't need the 800 since I direct out to the PA at larger gigs. I thought about a Rumble 200 but decided it wasn't necessary since I already have a 500. The best time to buy is now with Fender having most of the Rumbles on sale. If I were starting and serious about playing, I'd go with the 200, good in between amp and plenty for practice or small to medium venues.
