Hello nice video, not only Larimar is only from DR also the blue Amber. DR is the only country that has multicolor Amber beside the yellow they have blue ,red and green.

About 4 yrs ago I went to Sto.Domingo a couple of weeks for work, stayed at the Holiday Inn in Piantini, nice neighborhood.

Wow guys this videos of DR were amazing (I watched them all) and let me tell you, so happy for you!. I’m 48, a Dominican living near Tampa and have been considering remote options to work to enjoy life a bit more. You only live once man so try to make it fun.

Oldest European city. At the same time, Mexico City was the worlds largest city.

Santo Domingo is not the DR's oldest city. La Vega is few years older than Santo Domingo. Also, La Isabela (North of DR) was the first enclave of the conquistadores.

That monument you say is similar to the one we have here in Washington, it was built because the dictator (Trujillo)like to have things like in USA.We also have there avenues names after USA Presidents ( John F. Kennedy ave, George Washington ave, etc)

Dominicans in the DR please: dont throw the garbage in the streets, respect traffic lights, be civilized and wait for your turn and please please, dont try to be tiguere with everybody. Those are some of things dominicans needs to improve. Now, if you are in the streets walking, very much depending of the area, you have to be careful. Also, keep low profile, dont try to impress or demostrate that you have money, some people here can take advantage of that. DR is beautiful but most of the people needs to start to behave.

Santo Domingo is the first city founded by Spaniards, but is not the oldest city in the continent. The title of the video says the oldest city in the Americas, not the oldest colonial city. You guys need to do more research that is not the main reason at all for the death of the 3 sisters. They were activists in their own rights and fought and ultimately gave their lives for their beliefs you should visit their museum
