All the inner infrastructure of Shaniwar Wada was burnt by britishers..Otherwise it could be the very pleasant manument of India..It had 7 floors..It's ornaments were imported from Greece..Now it's developed as a garden..

Pune is such a wonderful city . When i visited Pune 5 years back i was amazed the quality of roads and infrastructure.

Such fluent Marathi u speaks jai Maharashtra

@@u.tharunkumar6125 Chennai is bigger than Pune. Pune is just a distant satellite city of Mumbai. In tier-2 cities Pune is the biggest no doubt. Local Maharashtrians have no business mind so outsiders rule the roost in MH.

Population: City [6500000] Metropolitan Region [10600000] Bigger than Chennai Metropolitan Region. Not a state capital yet fastest growing city. After Bengaluru Pune holds most of India's IT sector. More than Hyderabad and Chennai. Pune is India's automobile hub. You should visit sometimes. Best livable city in India from last 5 years. 2nd safest city in India after Surat. There's more you should come and Visit Pune.

I just had tears in my eyes when I saw my Pune and all iconic places

I used to live close to Pashan Lake for almost 5 years. I Studied engineering in Pune. 5-year in India and Pune was one of the best times in my whole life. I really wish to visit again soon.

I visited Calcutta city, City is good but people are not friendly or co operative, Chicken roll my favourite from Nizam Restaurant in New market ( Hogg Market) Traveled through Trams from Esplanade to Shyambazar very good experience..
