    From an initial look, that Chinon 55mm f1.4 is Tomioka made. If you want the best background blur, then look at the 55mm f1.2 but might have to shelve out close to $1000.

    you get adaptors for any lens to your camera. im not even sure what lens mount it was. a screw mount i think. do you have the exact same lens? is it a screw mount

    Yeah, that's not true at all. If you mean DSLR, you are half right. These vintage lenses do best on a mirrorless camera.
