Exploring the Abandoned Fairy Village in the Woods of Waterbury, Connecticut.

Join me as I explore the "Abandoned Fairy Village" aka "The Little People's Village" in Waterbury, Connecticut. The roadside attraction was building sometime around 1928 and may have never been open to the public. This place is located at the end of Old Waterbury Road in Waterbury, CT. It's easy to find, but good luck finding a parking spot where you won't get towed!

Grew up not far from there and hadn't thought about that place for years. We'd visited the site in the mid nineties out of curiosity and it still looks about how I'd remembered it. I didn't realize there used to be a trolley in the area. Very cool!

I agree. I was surprised to see it there! I wonder if it's still there or someone painted over it. Thanks for watching!

Awesome exploration. Love to learn the history behind these places and really appreciate how you do the research to help tell the story of what these structures were. - cheers from Norwich!

Wow! This place used to have so many fairies like the ones I heard one of my teachers talk about which were supposed to live in Litchfield, CT. Good times! :)

Thanks for watching! Sadly all of the mystical fairies seem to have flown south for the winter.

What is the building on the hill at 2:18? Lived in nearby Bristol and never heard of this place.

Some type of office building. If you get off of exit 17, 84-W, it's on the left side, in the back of the building that faces the street.

Your 3rd reason why its there is right. It was open to the public. It was never called the fairy village. You parked at Magy Mcflies or the Dr Office building lol.

Yes, I know that the whole "fairy village" thing was made up by urban explorers to make it seem more interesting. I actually did not park at either of those locations though. Thanks for watching.
