Exploring San Juan, Puerto Rico SOLO | Pre-Cruise Hotel Stay!
Welcome to my new vlog series on Virgin Voyages, Valiant Lady! This is my third time on Virgin, and this time I'm on a Southeastern Caribbean itinerary visiting several ports I've never been to before! But today is the day before the cruise, and I wake up bright and early to fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico! I arrive at my hotel (CasaBlanca Hotel) at noon but can't check in yet, so I spend several hours exploring the city and walking all the way around and up into the fort in Old San Juan. It was a HOT day, but beautiful sunny blue skies. I enjoyed two amazing meals, got a little bit of time to chill on the hotel rooftop and even discovered a speakeasy right in my hotel! I absolutely LOVED San Juan and can't wait to return, one day definitely wasn't enough, it's such a great place to explore - so walkable and everyone was very friendly!

Great question! I love them both for different reasons... could probably make a whole video on this but NCL in general has better itineraries and more variety on their ships as far as entertainment and restaurant options (though you can’t beat the vegetarian and vegan options on Virgin) but Virgin being adult-only is a HUGE draw for me. At the moment I’m focusing on cruising for the itinerary/ports + best all-in price, and NCL just wins out by a mile in both of those categories right now.

I love your videos would u recommend this motel this is my first time in San Juan is it close to the port we are on a ncl cruise

Yes, I would definitely recommend this hotel! It is very close (walkable) to the main port if your ship is docking there, but there are other places in San Juan where the ship could dock so it just depends on where it will be.
I love San Juan but why is it always 120 degrees there!?!
