I can't believe I'd never been to Italy before! Our first time in Rome and we loved this city
The best way to get around as a first time visitor is definitely one of the Hop On Hop Off buses. We booked with ‪@greenlinetours‬ We loved jumping on and doing a full loop to get our bearings and get a birdseye view of the amazing architecture (we also got a sneak peak of the Colosseum before our walking tour in vlog two)
Seeing the Trevi fountain in person and walking the Spanish steps during golden hour were definite highlights but it was also lovely to just wander through the streets taking in the atmosphere
It was busy and it was hot but there are so many places to stop and take a break and with the food being so delicious, you'll want to stop anyway
We stayed just outside Rome at Hu Camping Village Fabulous with ‪@eurocamp‬ which was a convenient and cheap way to stay close to the city with the option of staying away from the hustle and bustle. A separate vlog of our stay will be on the channel
