The film shows Oxie railway station. It shows a number of trains, the train station and part of its surroundings.
The station opened in 1874, on the then privately owned Malmö-Ystad railway. The state took over the line in 1941. The station was closed in 1975. The passenger trains stopped temporarily in 1982, 1985-1987. The Ystadsbanan was upgraded and electrified in 1995, and then a new passenger train station was built approx. 700 meters east of the old station, to get closer to the housing that was built in Oxie.
