Merci Theo & Lola for the interesting walking tour of Montmartre! I have visited this district several times and enjoyed it very much if you can handle the large number of tourists. 😳 If you are not able to walk up many stairs, I highly recommend taking the funicular to the top of the hill which saves time and energy and then walk down the stairs coming back. The view of Paris from Sacre Coeur is magnifique! 😍

I used to live in Montmartre and at the time just took it for granted, never realized how lucky I was to live there. I walked every inch of the quarter, know it all by heart. I miss it so much. Thank you, Théo, for this beautiful video!🥰

What a wonderful video Theo! It's so beautiful there. I haven't seen it since i was in tour in Europe in '85. I also had my portrait done there. I wish i kept it. Btw, the plant on the building is called ivy.

It was a casual walk, so not a lot of hidden gems, but I can recommend some places near Montmartre, like the good French restaurant called "Le Bon, La Butte" or the incredible ice creams of Glazed (with surprising flavors as bellpepper ahah)

We hope to move to France in 2026, as Norway is rapidly becoming an utterly dystopia. My oldest daughter has French at school, and she loves this language so much! We hope to settle in the upper parts of the Sarthe River, or on the top of Montmartre.

My wife's and my last day on a trip to Paris was spent in Montmatre. We took the petite tran around the area. If I recall correctly, isn't there a small vineyard there? The only one (or one of the only ones) in Paris. Lovely part of Paris.
