Hi, Jay. I can’t recommend enough a series of books by Spanish writer Carlos Ruiz Zafon, who recently passed away. The first novel in the series is titled Shadow of the Wind. The third novel is Prisoner of Heaven, which was partly set in Montjuïc Castle. If you have time, I highly suggest these four books!

Jaycation yes they are based in Barcelona. The last book is split between Barcelona and Madrid.
