Going to Raccoon Island is an adventure in itself as you kayak from the residences to the open sea and then to the mangrove forest and finally to the island. Getting there it's a delight to be welcomed by such adorable furry friends. That's quite an enjoyable adventure!

That was a wonderful adventure...the mangroves are beautiful and very important for the environment, they also house seahorses...I know this because not too long ago I raised them and had some mangrove roots in my tank for them to enjoy their natural habit...that was quite beautiful to see you travel through the forest...then off to the lovely raccoon island...I was in awe of how they came right up to you...then to seeing the sea otter, although hearing you yell sea otter first was awesome! What a great trip and I do hope you're feeling better Ms Kayak! Great video...wish I could have been at the premiere...I did set my alarm but I am not sure why it didn't go off...I do apologize, but enjoyed it in the quiet of my art studio, just the three of us! This is more the type of landscape I really should be exploring! Having grown up on an island I was always surrounded by the coast but never took full advantage of the life that surrounds it. I suppose that's because they are not anywhere near as beautiful ad the coasts of Florida! I absolutely love raccoons too! I guess they have a bit of a bad reputation in the US, but I have always found them to be such adorable fluffy little creatures. I even saw some tame ones when I went to Busan in South Korea, such wonderful little creatures

I was all for this paddle. Absolutely loved the mangroves but when that gaze of raccoons showed up… ya lost me. 😬😱😬🫣 Definitely a different experience though and they seemed friendly. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels to you both.
