A lot of respect! The cars are passing far too closely though - very dangerous whenever you're not in a bike lane. The situation is slowly improving here in London with protected bike lanes which is why I decided to get myself a Brompton for the work commute as well. Keep up the great work, look forward to following these trails when I come down for a visit.

Thank you again! 👍 I'm not sure what rear light you guys have purchased, but in my opinion the best is the Garmin Variant. I have the one that detects vehicles/bikes trying to pass you. I don't have the one with the video camera as it's new and needs to improve. I go over potholes and streets with slow down ridges that vibrate like heck and never lost my light. Besides that it's one of the BRIGHTEST lights you can find in strobe mode. I wouldn't ride my brompton without it. Didn't know I needed it until I started using it.

I have the cam version and these things are great. And I feel the Garmin lights are better. They project out. Better than magene and bryton seems not good in the radar area

Your courage in riding next to cars is impressive. Here in LA I always assume drivers are at least texting and probably video chatting and watching KZread. 😉

I am always tired after a day of riding. It takes alot of concentration and constantly checking my surroundings. I love riding in NYC but it I hope they add more dedicated bike lanes soon.

The T Line has the Knog Twin Pack you can find on Amazon. The Superlight has a Magic Shine Seemee light set. Both are great.

Hi! The S/low handlebar, are they appropriate for a shortie like me? I’m 4’11. I don’t want to be hunched over all sporty, but somewhere in the middle. I noticed you ride the S bar, probably because you like the aggressive ride but for someone small like me, what would you recommend? Thanks! ❤

If you like an upright posture the M would be a better choice. Shoko is around 5'2" and rides the M type handlebar comfortably. The S handlebar will make you lean forward more.

@@BromptonFamilyTime thank you! I tried out the M again, rode it around a bit longer and I think I prefer to be more upright than leaning forward too much. Thanks again! I might be joining the fold soon!!

Why are the roads in such a bad state? You're having to not just avoid vehicles but also the potholes, especially when riding a Brompton with it's small wheels.

Even the bike lanes are horrible in many locations so I have to pay attention to the road, cars, wrong way cyclists and pedestrians. I get tired after riding through the city, but I still love it.

I do wonder why you constantly change sides, being non English? And in Denmark the cars park outside the bike-lanes, even if only marked by a white stripe on minor roads. And keep up with road bikes? Definitely no, as the small wheels gives much more resistance when rolling!

The bike lanes here make no sense and switch sides for no reason. It makes riding tiring and dangerous in some locations.
