We loved the picarones in Lima! I can't believe we didn't even know about the causa limeña . Definitely going back and will most certainly try that dish next time.

It's very useful for traveling around all Latin-America 😊 CHIFA is the restaurant and then became the Peruvian-chinese Cuisine, there are more Chifas than Ceviche restaurants, imagine that ! and Yeah ! Nikkei Food is the fusion of the cuisine Peruvian-Japanese. Historically PERU HAS THE BIGGEST Chinese Migration in LatinAmerica after only United States, and THE BIGGEST JAPANESE Migration after Brazilian one. Of course there are also Italian, Afro, Arab- Spanish, Austrian- Germany and French influence into the Peruvian food. Saludos ! 😊
