So, I did my research. The house where they live, the property used to bong to a family in the 1800s. According to police record, a little girl, (age six, name Petra Earhart) was accidentally killed while playing in her room. The blueprints to the old home shows her room was the garage. She was playing with her doll, laughing and giggling (hence the noises) and redressing her doll (hence Colby's shirt). Petra was killed when she was dancing around with her doll, spinning in circles. She got dizzy (hence Aaron and Sam getting lightheaded) and collapsed on her bed. Her doll dropped and shattered. She was upset and she tried to pick it up. She was still dizzy and she collapsed on the glass, slicing her face to shreds and killing her.
