Love my hometown dunnellon. Your not wrong about the big city people...they want to take our way of life to turn it into a city. We have a garbage company

We bought an acre just north of town, the house build is supposed to start this month. We did the whole spreadsheet thing then visited the top cities. Dunnellon won. Thanks for the videos, you've really helped us! Stay healthy.

Hey Jose & Katie, thanks so much for these videos. Im actually gonna be moving down to Saint Pete area by next summer and have been scouting around the rural areas (Dunnellon, Salt Springs, Polk City, etc) for land to start building a homestead. These really help alot. Also, Im from Philly but laid back, and tired of the city rudeness and daily grind. I dig old FL!

There's the Marion county dump just north of Rainbow Lakes estates. Burning or dumping is too convenient. I do agree a trash service would help. But people still dump trash regardless.

A lot of poor areas here in California in the San Joaquin and Sacramento Valleys as well as Southern California's Inland Empire are purposely excluded from nearby incorporated towns and some lack basic infrestructure (spelling?) and services. Many don't even have clean drinking water. Most are predominantly Latino communities but some are also predominantly Anglo, including many in the Sacramento valley and on the edge of the Mohave Desert. Oildale just outside of Bakersfield in the San Joaquin valley is birthplace of Country legend Merle Haggard and is still mainly white but also very poor and now also very crime ridden and incredibly run down. Many are just poor but quite and friendly places however.
